アーティスト。1988年カナダ・トロント生まれ。日系カナダ人かつクィア・アーティストであり、双極性障害とともに生きる経験が作品制作の基盤となる。主に紙を用い、版画、インクドローイング、草木染めを縫製と組み合わせ、伝統的な紙の技法と素材を現代的に再解釈する。これらはハタナカの彫刻、大規模な版画インスタレーション、着用可能な彫刻立体作品として現れ、気候変動や精神的健康、生存といった問いに応答する。風景や魚、水域のモチーフは苦しみやしなやかさ、つながり、喜びを語る。個人および共同制作の作品は、アーモリー・ショー（アメリカ）、オンタリオ美術館、大英博物館、トロント・ビエンナーレなどで展示された。その他、コレクションとしてカナダ国立美術館（カナダ）、滋賀県立美術館（日本）、マテリアル・アート・アンド・デザイン博物館（アメリカ）に収蔵。

Artist. Born in 1988 in Toronto, Canada, Alexa Kumiko Hatanaka is a Japanese-Canadian queer artist whose experience living with bipolar forms the foundation of her practice. Working primarily with paper, she combines printmaking, ink drawing, natural dyeing, and sewing to contemporize traditional paper techniques and materials. These take shape as sculpture, large-scale print installations, and wearable sculptures that respond to questions of climate change, mental health, and survival. Motifs of landscapes, fish, and bodies of water speak to experiences of struggle, resilience, connection, and joy. Her individual and collaborative works have been exhibited at The Armory Show, United States, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the British Museum, and the Toronto Biennial of Art. Her works are part of the permanent collections at The National Gallery of Canada, Canada; The Shiga Prefecture Museum, Japan; The Material Art and Design Museum, United States.

Photographer. Born in Tokyo in 1977, Naoki Ishikawa received a Ph.D from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He travels to all kinds of places—from remote regions to major cities—and is continuously presenting new photographic work. In 2008, he received the Newcomer’s Award from the Japan Photographic Society and the Kodansha Publishing Culture Award for his books NEW DIMENSION (Akaaka Art Publishing) and POLAR (Little More). In 2011, he won the Domon Ken Award for CORONA (Seidosha). In 2020, he received the Japan Photographic Society’s Distinguished Photographer Award for EVEREST (CCC Media House) and Marebito (Shogakukan). In 2023, he was presented with the Higashikawa Special Photographer Award. His many books include The Last Adventurer (Shueisha), which won the Kaiko Takeshi Nonfiction Award. His recent publications include Shishapangma (Heibonsha) and The Last Mountain (Shinchosha).

サム・フォールズ（1984-）は、アメリカバーモント州で育ち、現在はロサンゼルスとニューヨークの2拠点で制作活動を行う。アメリカのリード大学で物理学、言語学、哲学などを学んだ後、2010年ICPバード芸術研究課程修了。主な個展に「We Are Dust and Shadow」（クリーブランド現代美術館、オハイオ州、2023年）、「Nature Is the New Minimalism」（トレント・ロヴェレート近現代美術館、イタリア、2018年）、アーマンド・ハマー美術館（ロサンゼルス、2018年）、The Kitchen（2015年)、Ballroom Marfa （テキサス、2015年）があり、第21回シドニービエンナーレ（2018年）にも参加。また近年日本での作品発表も続いており、2025年には金沢21世紀美術館、下瀬美術館、タグチアートコレクションでのグループ展に出展している。フォールズは、大気、植物、光、時間、そして自然の偶然性との緊密なコラボレーションを通じて、美学と環境を深く結びつける共生的な芸術アプローチを確立。自然環境とのコラボレーションで制作を行い、主に屋外で植物や大気と向き合っている。初期の絵画における死や象徴性といったテーマから、ランドアートの場所性やミニマリズムにいたる美術史にインスピレーションを受け、ペインティング、彫刻、写真という媒体をより有機的・根源的に結びつけている。太陽や雨という自然の要素と直接向き合い作品を作ることで、フォールズは環境と共生しながら自然を親密に表現し、人は自然の中に存在していることを示すアートを創造し続けている。

Sam Falls (born in 1984) was raised in Vermont and lives and works between Los Angeles and New York. He studied physics, linguistics, and philosophy at Reed College, receiving his BA in 2007 and his MFA from ICP-Bard in 2010. Recent solo museum exhibitions by Sam Falls include “We Are Dust and Shadow” MoCa, Cleveland, Ohio (2023); “Nature Is the New Minimalism,” Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Trento and Rovereto, Italy (2018); Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA, US (2018); The Kitchen, New York (2015); and Ballroom Marfa, Texas (2015); as well as his participation in the 21st Biennale of Sydney (2018). He has also exhibited works in Japan in recent years, participating in group exhibitions at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, the Shimoze Museum of Art, and the Taguchi Art Collection in 2025. Sam Falls has developed a symbiotic approach to art, connecting aesthetics and the environment in depthy by working in close collaboration with the atmosphere, plants, light, time, and natural chance. Falls collaborates with the natural environment to produce his art, working primarily outdoors with plants and the atmosphere. Inspired by the history of art from themes of mortality and symbolism in early painting to the site-specificity and minimalism of land art, Falls pushes the mediums of painting, sculpture, and photography in a more organic and primary connection to these subjects. By engaging directly with the elements of sun and rain to make the work, Falls works symbiotically with the environment to intimately represent nature and create art that speaks to our place within it.

1953年北海道三笠市生まれ、フランス在住。第40回ヴェネツィア・ビエンナーレ（1982年）、ドクメンタ8（1987年）など大規模な国際現代美術展への出品を重ね、海外でもっともよく知られる日本人アーティストの一人である。横浜トリエンナーレ総合ディレクター、東京藝術大学大学院教授、パリ国立高等芸術学院教授などを経て、現在はパリを拠点とする。既存の美術表現の枠組みを超えて、建築や都市計画、歴史や地域コミュニティといった異なる分野と積極的に関わり、長期的なプロジェクトをダイナミックに展開するスタイルはアートシーンに大きな影響を与え続けてきた。主な展覧会・プロジェクトに「川俣正・東京インプログレス」（東京／2010-2013年）、「椅子の回廊」（サルペトリエール病院サン・ルイ教会、フランス／1997年）、「ワーキング・プログレス」（アルクマー、オランダ／1996-1999年）、「Destroyed Church」（カッセル、ドイツ／1987年）などがある。

Born in 1953 in Mikasa, Hokkaido, Japan, he is currently based in Paris. He has participated in major international contemporary art exhibitions, including the 40th Venice Biennale (1982) and documenta 8 (1987), and is regarded as one of the most internationally recognized Japanese artists. He previously served as director of the Yokohama Triennale, Professor at the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts, and Professor at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is currently based in Paris. His practice extends beyond conventional art frameworks, actively engaging with fields such as architecture, urban planning, history, and local communities, and he has developed long-term, large-scale projects that have had a significant impact on the art field. Major exhibitions and projects include “Kawamata Tadashi: Tokyo In Progress,” Tokyo (2010–2013); “Corridor of Chairs,” Chapelle Saint-Louis de la Salpêtrière, France (1997); “Working Progress,” Alkmaar, Netherlands (1996–1999); and “Destroyed Church,” Kassel, Germany (1987).

Martin Margiela was born in 1957 in Leuven, Belgium. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, he began his career as a design assistant in the studio of Jean Paul. In 1988, he co-founded Maison Martin Margiela in Paris with Jenny Meirens and presented the first show of the brand. Following the 20th anniversary show of the house, he left the fashion industry to focus on visual art. In 2019, he participated in his first group exhibition at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld. In 2021, he held his first solo exhibition at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris, which later traveled to MWoods in Beijing and the Lotte Museum of Art in Seoul. In 2023, he held a solo exhibition at Eenwerk Gallery in Amsterdam, followed by a solo exhibition at Bernier/Eliades Gallery in Brussels and Athens in 2024. In April of this year, he held his first large-scale solo exhibition in Japan at Kudan House in Tokyo. The exhibition, presented alongside a show at Taka Ishii Gallery Kyoto, received significant attention.

音楽家。東京藝術大学作曲科卒業。作品は先鋭的な電子音楽作品からピアノソロ、オペラ、映画音楽、サウンドインスタレーションまで多岐にわたり、東京・パリを拠点に活動を行なう。2012年にボーカロイド・オペラ『THE END』を発表し、パリ・シャトレ座公演を皮切りに世界中で巡回。2018年以降はアンドロイド・オペラの制作を本格化し、『Scary Beauty』『MIRROR』を国内外で発表。2025年にはサントリーホールにて「アンドロイド・オペラ『MIRROR』－Deconstruction and Rebirth－解体と再生－」を上演し、2026年5月16日（土）に大阪・フェスティバルホールにて再演予定。これまでにパリ・オペラ座、シャトレ座、ドバイ万博、新国立劇場、サントリーホールなど国内外の劇場を中心に作品を発表。人間とテクノロジー、生と死の境界を作品を通して問いかけている。

Composer, musician, and artist. A graduate of the Department of Composition at Tokyo University of the Arts. His work spans a wide range of forms, from cutting-edge electronic music to piano solos, opera, film scores, and sound installations. Based in Tokyo and Paris, he presents his work internationally. In 2012, he premiered the vocaloid opera THE END, which toured worldwide following a show at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. Since 2018, he has focused on creating android operas, presenting works such as Scary Beauty and MIRROR in Japan and abroad. In 2025, he staged ANDROID OPERA MIRROR – Deconstruction and Rebirth at Suntory Hall, with a revival scheduled for May 16, 2026, at Festival Hall Osaka. His works have been presented primarily at major venues including the Paris Opera, Théâtre du Châtelet, Expo 2020 Dubai, the New National Theatre Tokyo, and Suntory Hall. Through his artistic practice, he explores the boundaries between humanity and technology, and between life and death.

田所淳
共愛学園前橋国際大学教授。クリエイティブコーダー。アルゴリズムを用いた音響合成による音楽作品の創作、ラップトップコンピュータを用いた音と映像によるライブコーディングを行う。近年は音響と映像を融合したインスタレーション作品や、ライブコーディングのパフォーマンスを、アルスエレクトロニカ・フェスティバルをはじめ国内外で作品を発表している。クリエイティブコーディングやライブコーディングに関する技術資料をWebサイトで公開、多くの学生やクリエイターに活用されている。著書に『Processing クリエイティブ・コーディング入門──コードが生み出す創造表現』『Beyond Interaction［改訂第3 版］──クリエイティブ・コーディングのためのopenFrameworks実践ガイド』『演奏するプログラミング、ライブコーディングの思想と実践──Show Us Your Screens』など。

実験音楽、ロック、電子音楽、映画音楽など幅広い分野で活動するアメリカ出身の音楽家、作曲家、プロデューサー。これまでにSonic Youth、Wilco、Merzbow など数多くのアーティストと協働する一方、即興演奏、ミニマリズム、ポップソングを横断する独自のソロ活動でも高い評価を得ている。現在はパートナーである音楽家の石橋英子と共に山梨県北杜市在住。

カール・ストーン
アメリカ・ロサンゼルス出身の作曲家、電子音楽家。サンプリングやコンピュータを用いたライブ・エレクトロニクスの先駆者として知られ、日常音や既存音源を精緻に編集・変容させる独自の作風で高い評価を得ている。ミニマル・ミュージックや実験音楽の流れを汲みながらも、ポップス、環境音、即興性を横断する作品を多数発表。長年にわたり日本を拠点に活動し、国内外のフェスティバル、美術館、コンサートホールなどで演奏・展示を行っている。

マイケル・シューマッハ
アメリカ・ニューヨークを拠点に活動する作曲家、サウンドアーティスト。持続音や微細な音響変化を用いた空間的なサウンド・インスタレーションやマルチチャンネル作品で知られ、建築空間や環境との関係性を重視した作品制作を行っている。電子音響、ミニマル・ミュージック、即興性を横断しながら、聴覚体験そのものを問い直す作品を国内外で発表。美術館、ギャラリー、公共空間など多様な場で展示・演奏活動を行っている。

すずえり／鈴木英倫子
音を中心に、電子工作、自作楽器、パフォーマンス、インスタレーションなど多様な表現を横断するアーティスト、音楽家。日用品や電子部品、廃材などを用いた独自の装置制作を行い、身体性とユーモアを伴った即興的な演奏や空間表現で知られる。国内外の美術館、ライブハウス、フェスティバルなどで活動し、実験音楽やメディアアートの領域で幅広く作品を発表している。

池田謙
即興電子音楽家、作曲家。池田謙は、FMサイン波を独自のプロセッシングによって縫い合わせることで電子音の粒子を即興的に生成し、音が立ち上がり消滅する瞬間における聴き手の「内的風景」の揺らぎ、減衰、そして消失を追体験させることを試みている。これまでに6枚のソロアルバムを発表し、David Toop、Eddie Prévost、John Russell、Carl Stone らと共演。また、Hiroshi Sugimoto、Tadanori Yokoo、Mariko Mori、Min Tanaka、Komuai、David Lynch など、現代美術や舞踊作品のためのサウンドトラックも数多く手がけている。

クリストフ・シャルル
フランス・マルセイユ生まれ、東京在住。環境音やフィールドレコーディングを用い、コンピュータ・プログラムによる作曲を行うサウンドアーティスト、作曲家。個々の音の自律性や、階層構造を持たない音響構成を重視した作品で知られる。音響、映像、インスタレーションを横断しながら、国内外で作品発表や演奏活動を行っている。

田中悠美子
義太夫三味線・エレクトリック大正琴奏者／作曲家。古典芸能界で活動する一方、実験音楽・現代音楽・即興演奏・舞台／映像音楽など幅広く活躍。カール・ストーン、ジョン・ゾーン、イクエ・モリ、ジム・オルーク、大友良英ら国内外の音楽家と共演。現代音楽では柴田南雄、高橋悠治、三輪眞弘、藤倉大などの作品を演奏する。

マイカ・シルバー
サウンド、空間、テクノロジーの交差点で活動するアメリカ人アーティスト／作曲家。文化空間のデザインに音を統合するコレクティブ「Polytope」の共同設立者であり、美術館、建築家、展示デザイナーらと協働している。現在、東京を拠点とする没入型リスニング・スペース「Black Hole」を設立している。

小野田賢三
コンセプチュアルアーティスト、1961年前橋市生まれ。大阪芸術大学（音響学）中退。NTTでのエンジニア勤務を経て、40代でアーティストへと転身。音響やデジタルシステム構築の深い知見を活かし、技術を社会への問い（アート）へと昇華させる独自のスタイルを確立した。DIC川村記念美術館や独クンストハーレ・デュッセルドルフでの企画展に参加。群馬音楽センター等でのサウンドパフォーマンスなど、国内外の第一線で精力的な活動を展開している。

Atsushi Tadokoro
Professor at Kyoai Gakuen University. Creative coder. He creates musical works using algorithmic sound synthesis and develops live coding performances combining sound and image through the use of laptop computers. In recent years, he has presented installation works integrating sound and visual media, as well as live coding performances, in Japan and internationally, including at the Ars Electronica Festival. He also publishes technical resources on creative coding and live coding through his website, which are widely used by students and creators. His publications include “Processing Creative Coding Nyumon: Code ga Umidasu Sozo Hyogen”; “Beyond Interaction [Third Revised Edition]: Practical Guide to openFrameworks for Creative Coding”; and “Enso Suru Programming: Live Coding no Shiso to Jissen — Show Us Your Screens,” among others.

Jim O'Rourke
Jim O’Rourke is an American musician, composer, and producer working across a wide range of fields, including experimental music, rock, electronic music, and film music. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Sonic Youth, Wilco, and Merzbow, while also maintaining a highly regarded solo practice that traverses improvisation, minimalism, and pop songwriting. He is currently based in Hokuto, Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, with his partner, musician Eiko Ishibashi.

Carl Stone
Carl Stone is a composer and electronic musician born in Los Angeles, United States. He is known as a pioneer of live electronics using sampling and computers, and is highly regarded for a distinctive practice in which everyday sounds and existing audio materials are meticulously edited and transformed. While drawing on traditions within minimal music and experimental music, he has produced a wide range of works that traverse pop, environmental sound, and improvisation. He has been based in Japan for many years and has held performances and mounted installations at festivals, museums, and concert halls in Japan and abroad.

Michael J Schumacher
Michael J Schumacher is a composer and sound artist based in New York, United States. He is known for spatial sound installations and multichannel works that use sustained tones and subtle acoustic variations, with a focus on the relationship between architectural space and the environment. Working across electronic sound, minimal music, and improvisation, he develops works that question the nature of the auditory experience itself. His works have been presented in a variety of contexts, including museums, galleries, and public spaces, both in Japan and internationally.

suzueri (Elico Suzuki)
An artist and musician whose practice centers on sound and spans electronics, self-built instruments, performance, and installation. She constructs original devices using everyday objects, electronic components, and discarded materials, and is known for improvisational performances and spatial expressions that incorporate physicality and humor. She has been active in Japan and internationally, performing at museums, live music venues, and festivals, and has presenting works widely across the fields of experimental music and media art.

Ken Ikeda
Improvisational electronic musician and composer. Ken Ikeda improvisationally generates particles of electronic sound by stitching together FM sine waves through his own processing methods. His work attempts to evoke fluctuations, attenuation, and disappearance within the listener’s “inner landscape” at the moments when sound emerges and dissipates. He has released six solo albums and has performed with David Toop, Eddie Prévost, John Russell, and Carl Stone. Ikeda has also produced numerous soundtracks for contemporary art and dance works by Hiroshi Sugimoto, Tadanori Yokoo, Mariko Mori, Min Tanaka, Komuai, and David Lynch.

Christophe Charles
Born in Marseille, France, and currently based in Tokyo, Christophe Charles is a sound artist and composer who works with environmental sound, field recordings, and computer-based composition. He is known for works that emphasize the autonomy of individual sounds and non-hierarchical sonic structures. He works across audio, video, and installation, presenting his work and holding performances in Japan and internationally.

Yumiko Tanaka
Yumiko Tanaka is a performer of Gidayu shamisen and electric taishogoto, as well as a composer. While active in the field of traditional performing arts, she also works across experimental music, contemporary music, improvisation, and music for stage and film. She has collaborated with musicians including Carl Stone, John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Jim O’Rourke, and Otomo Yoshihide. In the field of contemporary music, she has performed works by Minao Shibata, Yuji Takahashi, Masahiro Miwa, and Dai Fujikura.

Micah Silver
Micah Silver is an American artist and composer working at the intersection of sound, space, and technology. He is a co-founder of the collective Polytope, which integrates sound into the design of cultural spaces, and he collaborates with museums, architects, and exhibition designers. He is currently establishing Black Hole, an immersive listening space in Tokyo.

Kenzo Onoda
Conceptual artist. Born in 1961 in Maebashi, Japan. Studied acoustics at Osaka University of Arts, leaving before graduation. After working as an engineer at NTT, he transitioned to a career as an artist in his forties. As a conceptual artist, he has developed a practice that draws on his extensive knowledge of acoustics and digital systems, transforming technology into artistic inquiries that engage with society. His work has been presented in exhibitions at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany. He has also presented sound performances at venues including Gunma Music Center, and continues to exhibit and perform in Japan and internationally.

写真家、映画監督、現代美術家。写真を中心として、映画、映像、空間インスタレーションも多く手掛ける。クリエイティブチーム「EiM（エイム）」の一員としても活動中。木村伊兵衛写真賞ほか数々受賞。2010年ニューヨークのRizzoliから写真集を出版。『ヘルタースケルター』（2012年）ほか長編映画を5作、Netflix『FOLLOWERS』（2020年）を監督。これまでに写真集120冊以上を刊行、個展150回以上、グループ展130回以上と国内外で精力的に作品発表を続ける。個展「蜷川実花展 with EiM：彼岸の光、此岸の影」（2025, 京都市京セラ美術館）は25万人を動員。

Photographer/Film Director/Artist. Although primarily a photographer, Mika Ninagawa is a multidisciplinary artist who also works extensively in film, video and spatial installations. She is also a member of the creative team EiM. She is the recipient of numerous photography awards, including the prestigious Kimura Ihei Award. A book of her photographs was published by Rizzoli New York in 2010. She has directed five feature films, including Helter-Skelter (2012), and the Netflix original drama FOLLOWERS (2020). She has published more than 120 books of photographs, held or participated in over 150 solo exhibitions and 130 group exhibitions, and continues to present her work enthusiastically in Japan and abroad. Her solo exhibition NINAGAWA Mika with EiM：Lights of the beyond, Shadows of this world (Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art, Jan. 2025–Mar. 2025) attracted over 250,000 visitors.

小野田賢三
コンセプチュアルアーティスト、1961年前橋市生まれ。大阪芸術大学（音響学）中退。NTTでのエンジニア勤務を経て、40代でアーティストへと転身。音響やデジタルシステム構築の深い知見を活かし、技術を社会への問い（アート）へと昇華させる独自のスタイルを確立した。DIC川村記念美術館や独クンストハーレ・デュッセルドルフでの企画展に参加。群馬音楽センター等でのサウンドパフォーマンスなど、国内外の第一線で精力的な活動を展開している。

Professor at Kyoai Gakuen University. Creative coder. He creates musical works using algorithmic sound synthesis and develops live coding performances combining sound and image through the use of laptop computers. In recent years, he has presented installation works integrating sound and visual media, as well as live coding performances, in Japan and internationally, including at the Ars Electronica Festival. He also publishes technical resources on creative coding and live coding through his website, which are widely used by students and creators. His publications include “Processing Creative Coding Nyumon: Code ga Umidasu Sozo Hyogen”; “Beyond Interaction [Third Revised Edition]: Practical Guide to openFrameworks for Creative Coding”; and “Enso Suru Programming: Live Coding no Shiso to Jissen — Show Us Your Screens,” among others.

Jim O'Rourke
Jim O’Rourke is an American musician, composer, and producer working across a wide range of fields, including experimental music, rock, electronic music, and film music. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Sonic Youth, Wilco, and Merzbow, while also maintaining a highly regarded solo practice that traverses improvisation, minimalism, and pop songwriting. He is currently based in Hokuto, Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, with his partner, musician Eiko Ishibashi.

Carl Stone
Carl Stone is a composer and electronic musician born in Los Angeles, United States. He is known as a pioneer of live electronics using sampling and computers, and is highly regarded for a distinctive practice in which everyday sounds and existing audio materials are meticulously edited and transformed. While drawing on traditions within minimal music and experimental music, he has produced a wide range of works that traverse pop, environmental sound, and improvisation. He has been based in Japan for many years and has held performances and mounted installations at festivals, museums, and concert halls in Japan and abroad.

Michael J Schumacher
Michael J Schumacher is a composer and sound artist based in New York, United States. He is known for spatial sound installations and multichannel works that use sustained tones and subtle acoustic variations, with a focus on the relationship between architectural space and the environment. Working across electronic sound, minimal music, and improvisation, he develops works that question the nature of the auditory experience itself. His works have been presented in a variety of contexts, including museums, galleries, and public spaces, both in Japan and internationally.

suzueri (Elico Suzuki)
An artist and musician whose practice centers on sound and spans electronics, self-built instruments, performance, and installation. She constructs original devices using everyday objects, electronic components, and discarded materials, and is known for improvisational performances and spatial expressions that incorporate physicality and humor. She has been active in Japan and internationally, performing at museums, live music venues, and festivals, and has presenting works widely across the fields of experimental music and media art.

Ken Ikeda
Improvisational electronic musician and composer. Ken Ikeda improvisationally generates particles of electronic sound by stitching together FM sine waves through his own processing methods. His work attempts to evoke fluctuations, attenuation, and disappearance within the listener’s “inner landscape” at the moments when sound emerges and dissipates. He has released six solo albums and has performed with David Toop, Eddie Prévost, John Russell, and Carl Stone. Ikeda has also produced numerous soundtracks for contemporary art and dance works by Hiroshi Sugimoto, Tadanori Yokoo, Mariko Mori, Min Tanaka, Komuai, and David Lynch.

Christophe Charles
Born in Marseille, France, and currently based in Tokyo, Christophe Charles is a sound artist and composer who works with environmental sound, field recordings, and computer-based composition. He is known for works that emphasize the autonomy of individual sounds and non-hierarchical sonic structures. He works across audio, video, and installation, presenting his work and holding performances in Japan and internationally.

Yumiko Tanaka
Yumiko Tanaka is a performer of Gidayu shamisen and electric taishogoto, as well as a composer. While active in the field of traditional performing arts, she also works across experimental music, contemporary music, improvisation, and music for stage and film. She has collaborated with musicians including Carl Stone, John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Jim O’Rourke, and Otomo Yoshihide. In the field of contemporary music, she has performed works by Minao Shibata, Yuji Takahashi, Masahiro Miwa, and Dai Fujikura.

Micah Silver
Micah Silver is an American artist and composer working at the intersection of sound, space, and technology. He is a co-founder of the collective Polytope, which integrates sound into the design of cultural spaces, and he collaborates with museums, architects, and exhibition designers. He is currently establishing Black Hole, an immersive listening space in Tokyo.

Kenzo Onoda
Conceptual artist. Born in 1961 in Maebashi, Japan. Studied acoustics at Osaka University of Arts, leaving before graduation. After working as an engineer at NTT, he transitioned to a career as an artist in his forties. As a conceptual artist, he has developed a practice that draws on his extensive knowledge of acoustics and digital systems, transforming technology into artistic inquiries that engage with society. His work has been presented in exhibitions at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany. He has also presented sound performances at venues including Gunma Music Center, and continues to exhibit and perform in Japan and internationally.

Traversing the natural environment, geography, history, and folklore of a region, this art unit reexamines the area and reconstructs the stories drawn from the memories of its residents and of small groups and individuals whose histories often go unrecorded, incorporating drawings and sculptural elements into this process. Their major projects include: Ghost: When the Invisible Becomes Visible (2025, Arts Maebashi); Tamagawa Geontography (2024, Chofu City Cultural Hall Tazukuri); Tomoko Konoike: Medicine Infrastructure (2024, Aomori Museum of Art); and Ecology of Expression (2019, Arts Maebashi).

Born in Ota, Gunma Prefecture in 1981 and currently based in Akita Prefecture, Kenichi Obana creates drawings and sculptures inspired by human activity, folklore, and the landscapes and histories of specific places. In work that alternates between fiction and reality, he explores the use of visual forms that invite viewers into a story-like experience. His recent exhibitions include Now Shibuya, a wall art project at Shibuya Hikarie (2025, Tokyo); Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2024 (2024, Tokamachi); Aichi Triennale 2022 (2022, Tokoname); Setouchi Triennale 2022 (2022, Tadotsu); and VOCA 2021 at the Ueno Royal Museum (2021, Tokyo). 建築家。1984年東京都生まれ。大学在学時にランドスケープデザインを学び、藤本壮介建築設計事務所で設計スタッフとして勤務の後、東京芸術大学大学院に進学。在学時に東京都美術館主催「Arts＆Life：生きるための家」展で最優秀賞を受賞し、原寸大の住宅作品を展示する。独立後の主な仕事として、屋内外を横断する無数の構造材によって一体の住環境とした「daita2019」等の住宅作品や、樹木群と人工物が渾然一体となる環境を立ち上げる2025年大阪関西万博休憩施設などがある。主な受賞に、第三回日本建築設計学会賞大賞、第三十六回吉岡賞、Under 35 Architects exhibition 2020 Gold Medal、第三回小嶋一浩賞など。

Architect.Born in Tokyo in 1984, Suzuko Yamada studied landscape design as an undergraduate. She later joined the design staff at Sou Fujimoto Architects before entering the graduate program at Tokyo University of the Arts. While still a student, she received the Grand Prize for a full-scale residential installation that appeared in the Arts & Life: Housing for Living exhibition organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. After opening her own office, her main accomplishment have included the residential project daita2019, a unified living environment consisting of countless structural members traversing both interior and exterior spaces; and the Rest Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, a facility in which clusters of trees and architectural elements intermingle seamlessly. Her major awards include the 3rd Japan Architectural Design Association Grand Prize, 36th Yoshioka Award, Under 35 Architects Exhibition 2020 Gold Medal, and 3rd Kazuhiro Kojima Award.

田所淳
共愛学園前橋国際大学教授。クリエイティブコーダー。アルゴリズムを用いた音響合成による音楽作品の創作、ラップトップコンピュータを用いた音と映像によるライブコーディングを行う。近年は音響と映像を融合したインスタレーション作品や、ライブコーディングのパフォーマンスを、アルスエレクトロニカ・フェスティバルをはじめ国内外で作品を発表している。クリエイティブコーディングやライブコーディングに関する技術資料をWebサイトで公開、多くの学生やクリエイターに活用されている。著書に『Processing クリエイティブ・コーディング入門──コードが生み出す創造表現』『Beyond Interaction［改訂第3 版］──クリエイティブ・コーディングのためのopenFrameworks実践ガイド』『演奏するプログラミング、ライブコーディングの思想と実践──Show Us Your Screens』など。

実験音楽、ロック、電子音楽、映画音楽など幅広い分野で活動するアメリカ出身の音楽家、作曲家、プロデューサー。これまでにSonic Youth、Wilco、Merzbow など数多くのアーティストと協働する一方、即興演奏、ミニマリズム、ポップソングを横断する独自のソロ活動でも高い評価を得ている。現在はパートナーである音楽家の石橋英子と共に山梨県北杜市在住。

カール・ストーン

Yoshio Shirakawa was born in Tobata, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka prefecture in 1948. In the 1970s, he studied philosophy and art in France and Germany. He graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 1981 with a master’s degree. After returning to Japan in 1983, he has been based in Gunma and has developed his practice around the theme of the places where he lives. Recent major exhibitions include the solo exhibition “Yoshio Shirakawa: Is this Inferno or Paradise, Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels,” Saitama (2021); “The Ecology of Expression: Remaking Our Relations with the World,” Arts Maebashi, Gunma (2018); the solo exhibition “– A Memory Erased – Nagasaki | Gunma,” Concept Space (2018); “Contemporary Art in Gunma 2017 – Where contemporary art belongs in the community,” The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma (2017); and “Aichi Triennale 2016 – Homo Faber: A Rainbow Caravan” (2016).

青柳いづみ
俳優。東京都出身。マームとジプシー、チェルフィッチュの両団体で国内外の舞台で活動。漫画家・今日マチ子との共著『いづみさん』を筑摩書房より発刊。また、配信中の最果タヒの詩のレコード『こちら99等星』（リトルモア）に朗読で参加する他、ナレーションやエッセイの執筆など活動は多岐に渡る。

1975年福岡生まれ。1995年にミト、伊藤大助と3ピースバンド「クラムボン」を結成。歌と鍵盤を担当。バンド活動と並行して、ソロ活動、さまざまなミュージシャンとの共演、共作、執筆、ドローイングなど活動は多岐に渡る。吉祥寺「キチム」の立ち上げに関わる。これまでにソロアルバム『ピアノ』『気配と余韻』『ケモノと魔法』『銀河』、2023年に詩人・谷川俊太郎との共作曲「いまここ」、アルバム『いま』を発表。2026年にリリースされた、二階堂和美のニューアルバム『潮汐』にプロデュースで参加。マームとジプシーとは、舞台「cocoon」「めにみえない みみにしたい」「かがみ まど とびら」の音楽を担当、作品作りを共にしている。

藤田貴大
1985年4月生まれ。北海道伊達市出身。出生地は前橋。桜美林大学文学部総合文化学科にて演劇を専攻。07年マームとジプシーを旗揚げ。以降全作品の作・演出を担当する。作品を象徴するシーンを幾度も繰り返す“リフレイン”の手法で注目を集める。11年6月－8月にかけて発表した三連作「かえりの合図、まってた食卓、そこ、きっと、しおふる世界。」で第56回岸田國士戯曲賞を26歳で受賞。以降、様々な分野の作家との共作を積極的に行うと同時に、演劇経験を問わず様々な年代との創作にも意欲的に取り組む。13年、15年に太平洋戦争末期の沖縄戦に動員された少女たちに着想を得て創作された今日マチ子の漫画『cocoon』を舞台化。同作で2016年第23回読売演劇大賞優秀演出家賞受賞。演劇作品以外でもエッセイや小説、共作漫画の発表など活動は多岐にわたる。

Aoyagi Izumi
Aoyagi Izumi is an actor from Tokyo. She performs in theater productions in Japan and internationally with the companies mum&gypsy and chelfitsch. She co-authored the book “izumisan” with manga artist Machiko Kyo, published by Chikuma Shobo. She also contributed as a reader to poet Tahi Saihate’s spoken-word record “Kochira 99-tosei,” released by Little More. Her activities also include narration and essay writing.

Ikuko Harada
Ikuko Harada was born in 1975 in Fukuoka. In 1995, she formed the three-piece band Clammbon with Mito and Daisuke Itou, performing vocals and keyboards. Alongside her work with the band, her practice spans solo projects, collaborations and co-creations with various musicians, writing, and drawing. She was also involved in the establishment of KICHIMU in Kichijoji, Tokyo. Her solo releases include “Piano,” “Kehai to Yoin,” “Kemono to Mahou,” and “Ginga.” In 2023, she released the collaborative song “Ima Koko” with poet Shuntaro Tanikawa and the album “Ima.” In 2026, she participated as producer on Nikaido Kazumi’s new album “Chou-Seki.” She has also collaborated with mum&gypsy on their stage productions, contributing music for “cocoon,” “Meni Mienai Mimi ni Shitai,” and “Kagami Mado Tobira,” and continuing to develop works together.

Takahiro Fujita
Takahiro Fujita was born in April 1985 in Maebashi and raised in Date, Hokkaido. He studied theater in the Department of Integrated Cultural Studies, College of Arts and Sciences at J. F. Oberlin University. In 2007, he founded the theater company mum&gypsy, and has since written and directed all of its productions. He gained recognition for his use of the ‘refrain’ technique, in which symbolic scenes are repeated multiple times throughout a work. In 2011, he received the 56th Kishida Prize for drama at the age of 26 for the trilogy “Home, Waiting Dining Table, A World of Falling Salt” presented between June and August of the same year. Since then, he has actively collaborated with artists across various fields, while also developing works with people of different generations regardless of prior theater experience. In 2013 and 2015, he staged “cocoon,” a manga by Kyo Machiko inspired by girls mobilized during the Battle of Okinawa in the final stages of the Pacific War. For this production, he received the Outstanding Director Prize at the 23rd Yomiuri Theater Awards in 2016. In addition to theater productions, his practice extends across essays, novels, and collaborative manga projects.

Designer and co-founder of Postalco, established in Brooklyn, NY in 2000, Mike Abelson has been based in Tokyo for 25 years where he designs products, apparel, and interiors that bridge Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary daily life. His practice spans product design and exhibition projects, working with clients including Karimoku Furniture Inc., Calder Foundation, Mitsubishi Pencil Co.Ltd. and Maison Hermès. Recent exhibitions include Paper Trail: Everything is a Prototype for the Future at Atelier Muji Ginza (2025) and Body Centered at Karimoku Commons (2022), alongside past shows at 21_21 Design Sight. Co-author of Viewpoint in the Fog (2025) and Swimming in Puddles (2017). Through the Postalco shop and ongoing research into material applications, Abelson explores how traditional techniques can address present and future needs.

最果タヒ
詩人。2004年よりインターネット上で詩作を始め、2006年に第44回現代詩手帖賞受賞。2008年、第1詩集『グッドモーニング』で第13回中原中也賞受賞。2015年、第3詩集『死んでしまう系のぼくらに』で第33回現代詩花椿賞受賞。2017年、第4詩集『夜空はいつでも最高密度の青色だ』が石井裕也監督により映画化。2024年、第12詩集『恋と誤解された夕焼け』で第32回萩原朔太郎賞受賞。エッセイ集『きみの言い訳は最高の芸術』、小説『十代に共感する奴はみんな嘘つき』など著書多数。2018年、太田市美術館図書館の企画展に参加。2019年は横浜美術館で初の個展を開催。著名アーティストへの作詞提供ほか、ホテルとのコラボ企画「詩のホテル」や詩とプラネタリウムを融合した作品発表など活動の場は幅広い。

佐々木俊
グラフィックデザイナー。2010年多摩美術大学グラフィックデザイン学科卒業。2016年AYOND（アヨンド）を設立。これまでに、詩人・最果タヒの『夜空はいつでも最高密度の青色だ』等の著書や詩の展示構成、2019年展覧会「デザインの（居）場所」（東京国立近代美術館）、2021年「NHK紅白歌合戦」番組ロゴ等のデザイン・アートディレクション、2023年「ハヤカワ新書」装丁などを担当。参加展示に、2018年「ことばをながめる、ことばとあるく―詩と歌のある風景」（太田市美術館・図書館）などがある。主な受賞歴として、2020年JAGDA新人賞、2024年世界ポスタートリエンナーレトヤマ銀賞がある。

Tahi Saihate
Tahi Saihate first began writing poetry in 2004 on the internet. In 2006, she received the 44th Gendai Shi Techō Prize and in 2008, published her first poetry collection Guddo Moningu (Good Morning), which won the 13th Nakahara Chuya Prize. In 2015, her third poetry collection Shinde Shimau-kei no Bokura ni (To Us, the Dying-Type) garnered the 33rd Gendai Shi Hanatsubaki Prize. In 2017, her fourth poetry collection Yozora wa Itsumo Saiko Mitsudo no Aoiro da (The Tokyo Night Sky Is Always the Densest Shade of Blue) was adapted into a film directed by Yuya Ishii. In 2024, her twelfth poetry collection Koi to Gokai Sareta Yuyake (The Sunset Mistaken for Love) won the 32nd Hagiwara Sakutaro Prize. Her many published works include the essay collection Kimi no Iiwake wa Saiko no Geijutsu (Your Excuse Is the Greatest Art) and the novel Judai ni Kyokan suru Yatsu wa Minna Usotsuki (Anyone Who Say They Can Relate with Teenagers Is a Liar). In 2018, she participated in a special exhibition at the Ota City Art Museum & Library, and in 2019 held her first solo exhibition at the Yokohama Museum of Art. Her wide-ranging practice has included writing lyrics for well-known artists, collaborating with hotels on the Shi no Hoteru (Poetry Hotel) project, and a multimedia poetry work presented within the space of a planetarium.

Shun Sasaki
Shun Sasaki graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University in 2010 and founded AYOND in 2016. His design work has included book designs and poetry exhibition layouts for the poet Tahi Saihate, such as for her poetry collection Yozora wa Itsumo Saiko Mitsudo no Aoiro da (The Tokyo Night Sky Is Always the Densest Shade of Blue); design and art direction for the 2019 exhibition The (In)Visible Place of Design at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; the program logo and other designs for the 2021 NHK Kphaku Uta Gassen; and the 2023 cover designs for the Hayakawa Shinsho series. His work was exhibited in the 2018 show Seeing Words, Walking with Words: Landscapes of Poetry and Song at the Ota City Museum & Library. His major awards include the 2020 JAGDA New Designer Award and the Silver Prize at the 2024 International Poster Triennial in Toyama.

Sakumi Hagiwara was born in November 1946 in Tokyo, Japan. He made his stage debut in the inaugural performance of Tenjou Sajiki, the theater company founded by Shuji Terayama. Beside his work as an actor, he worked in stage direction and began producing moving-image works. He has worked across printmaking, photography, and magazine editing. Two years ago, all of his prints, photographs, and objects were acquired by the Setagaya Art Museum. He has published numerous books. He is Professor Emeritus at Tama Art University, Special Director of Maebashi City Museum of Literature, and Arts and Cultural Activities Advisor to Maebashi City.

Founder of writtenafterwards and coconogacco, Yoshikazu Yamagata was born in Tottori in 1980. He graduated with a BA in Fashion Design (womenswear course) at Central Saint Martins College, University of the Arts London in 2005. In 2007, he established the fashion label writtenafterwards, which explores a wide spectrum of fashion expression unbound by preconceived notions, based on the idea of “conveying the tenderness of dressing.” In 2009, he presented the opening fashion show at the Arnhem Mode Biennale in the Netherlands. In 2015, he became the first Japanese designer to be nominated for the LVMH Prize. In addition to his design work, he runs coconogacco, an educational program and experimental platform for fashion expression that has produced many designers and artists. In 2021, he received the Kujiraoka Amiko Memorial Award at the 39th Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix. His recent major exhibitions include Decoration Never Dies, Anyway (2019–2020, Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum); The Image of Asia (2021, Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum); Fashion in Japan 1945–2020 (2023, The National Art Center, Tokyo); Jean-François Millet–The Shape of the World Beginning with Seeds–with Four Contemporary Artists (2024, Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art); and It's Alright To Be Here–writtenafterwards /The Possibility of Fashion Written with Yoshikazu Yamagata (2024, Arts Maebashi).

Painter. She draws living creatures in an expressive and expansive manner and has held solo exhibitions in Japan and abroad. She received the Grand Prize of the 18th Japan Picture Book Awards for the picture book “Okami ga Tobu Hi (The Day the Wolf Flies)” published by Eastpress. At The Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB), she received the Golden Apple award for “Ore to Kiro (Me and Yellow),” published by WAVE Publishers, and the Gold Medal for “Kemono no nioi ga shitekita zo (Beasts Smelling)” published by Iwasaki Publishing. She has also received numerous other awards and published many books. She received the 41st Iwaya Sazanami Literary Prize. She has created illustrations for books, CD jackets, posters, and other media. Since 2020, her traveling exhibition “Ikimonotachi wa watashi no kagami (Creatures Are My Mirror)” has toured museums across Japan. Her works arise from her close sensitivity to the movements of nature, generating images in which subtle presences and the brilliance of life emerge in dense, perceptible form.

dot architects is an architectural unit founded in 2004. Based in Kitakagaya district, Osaka, the group operates from Kopo Kitakagaya, a collaborative studio dedicated to practicing an alternative form of society. Their practice involves collaboration with a wide range of participants in the processes of design and construction, including both specialists and non-specialists. Their activities extend beyond architectural design to on-site construction, research projects, and art projects. The current members are Toshikatsu Ienari, Takeshi Akashiro, Wataru Doi, Ai Ikeda, Keiko Miyachi, Ryosuke Katsube, Asuka Kobayashi, and Futo Kurahashi. Major works include “Umaki Camp,” Kagawa (2013); “Chidori-Bunka,” Osaka (2017); and “Kari no ie” (On-hold House), Shizuoka (2022).

In 2019, the new Alchemist opened in an old warehouse in the industrial district of Refshaleøen. Here, Munk could realize his vision of ‘Holistic Cuisine,’ combining elements of art, theatre, science, visual tech, activism, and gastronomy in an all-encompassing six-hour experience. Munk’s gastronomy is thought-provoking, surprising, and often humoristic. The storytelling around the dishes highlights themes such as climate change, social inequality, animal welfare, food waste, and sustainability. Alchemist has 2 Michelin stars and is currently ranked no. 5 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants-list. In 2020, Munk founded the charity JunkFood, providing daily free meals for Denmark’s homeless. To date, the charity has served over 1.1 million meals. In 2023 he founded the food innovation center Spora, focused on applying science to the pursuit of sustainable deliciousness.

1974年兵庫県宝塚市生まれ。米国イェール大学政治学部卒業。これまでに世界128カ国・地域を訪問し、1年のうち5カ月を海外、3か月を東京、4カ月を地方で食べ歩き、国内外のメディアで食と旅に関する情報を発信している。2025年11月より「世界のベストレストラン50」および「アジアのベストレストラン50」日本評議委員長に就任。海外レストランサイトのレビュアーランキングでは8年連続1位を獲得し、世界的美食家として知られる。2024年6月、『美食の教養　世界一の美食家が知っていること』（ダイヤモンド社）を出版。

ラスムス・ムンク
1991年生まれ。ロンドンのレストラン「North Road」でキャリアを開始。デンマーク・ヴァイレの「Treetop Restaurant」で2年間ヘッドシェフを務めた後、2015年にコペンハーゲンで初となる小規模な「Alchemist」を開業した。2019年、コペンハーゲンの工業地区レフスハレオエンの旧倉庫に新たな「Alchemist」を開業。「ホリスティック・クイジーン（Holistic Cuisine）」の構想のもと、アート、演劇、科学、ヴィジュアルテクノロジー、アクティヴィズム、ガストロノミーを組み合わせた6時間にわたる体験型レストランを展開している。 気づきや問いを促し、ユーモアを交えた料理表現を特徴とし、料理を通じたストーリーテリングでは、気候変動、社会的不平等、動物福祉、食品ロス、持続可能性などをテーマとして扱う。2020年には、デンマークのホームレス支援を目的とした慈善団体「JunkFood」を設立し、毎日無償で食事を提供しており、これまでに110万食以上を提供した。 2023年には、科学的アプローチを用いて持続可能な「おいしさ」を探求するフードイノベーションセンター「Spora」を設立。現在、「Alchemist」はミシュラン二つ星を獲得し、「The World’s 50 Best Restaurants」において第5位にランクインしている。

高田裕介

Takefumi Hamada
Takefumi Hamada was born in 1974 in Takarazuka, Hyogo, Japan. Graduated from Yale University with a degree in political science, he has visited 128 countries and regions and spends approximately five months out of every year traveling overseas, three months in Tokyo, and four months in regional areas of Japan exploring food cultures. He shares information on food and travel through domestic and international media. Since November 2025, he has served as Japan Chairperson for the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants lists. He ranked first for eight consecutive years in reviewer rankings on international restaurant review platforms and is recognized internationally as a gourmet traveler. In June 2024, his book “Bishoku no Kyōyō: Sekai Ichi no Bishokuka ga Shitteiru Koto (Live to Eat : A Foodie’s Perspective on Gastronomy)” was published by Diamond, Inc.

Rasmus Munk
(born 1991) started his career at restaurant North Road in London. After two years as Head Chef at Treetop Restaurant in Vejle, he opened his first, small, version of Alchemist in Copenhagen in 2015. In 2019, the new Alchemist opened in an old warehouse in the industrial district of Refshaleøen. Here, Munk could realize his vision of ‘Holistic Cuisine,’ combining elements of art, theatre, science, visual tech, activism, and gastronomy in an all-encompassing six-hour experience. Munk’s gastronomy is thought-provoking, surprising, and often humoristic. The storytelling around the dishes highlights themes such as climate change, social inequality, animal welfare, food waste, and sustainability. Alchemist has 2 Michelin stars and is currently ranked no. 5 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants-list. In 2020, Munk founded the charity JunkFood, providing daily free meals for Denmark’s homeless. To date, the charity has served over 1.1 million meals. In 2023 he founded the food innovation center Spora, focused on applying science to the pursuit of sustainable deliciousness.

Yusuke Takada
As a leading culinary figure in Asia, Yusuke Takada is a Japanese chef who has gained international recognization for his originality and avant-garde style. Ryota Kuwakubo is a media artist and a specially appointed professor at Atomi Information Science and Arts Center (AISAC). His LOST series of light-and-shadow installations using a moving point light source has been presented in Japan and internationally. As the art duo Perfektron, he has also designed exhibitions such as Design Ah! Exhibition neo.

Abe Laboratory at the Maebashi Institute of Technology is a research laboratory within the Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Environmental Design. Led by media artist Yuko Abe, it explores regional history, social issues, and the latent possibilities of new media through artistic methodologies.

映像作家・ダンサー。世界を五感で理解しようとする時に、心と身体に起こる変化を「踊り」と捉え、その感覚を軸に映画を制作。主な監督作品に『Shari』（ロッテルダム国際映画祭2022公式選出）、『Grand Bouquet』（カンヌ監督週間2019正式招待）、『ほったまるびより』（第19回文化庁メディア芸術祭エンターテインメント部門新人賞）。演者として映画出演、舞台作品の演出・美術も手掛ける。

Filmmaker/Dancer. When attempting to understand the world through the five senses, Yoshigai perceives the changes occurring in mind and body as “dance.” She then uses that sensation as an axis for filmmaking. Her major directorial works include Shari (Official Selection at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2022), Grand Bouquet (Official Invitee to 2019 Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes) and Hotamarubi Yori (New Face Award, Entertainment Division, 19th Japan Media Arts Festival). She also acts, directs stage productions and does stage design.

ビジュアルアーティスト。2023年にボストン大学大学院美術学部絵画専攻を修了。2024年にフルブライト奨学金を受け、ポーランド・ワルシャワで滞在制作を行う。HERALBONY Art Prize 2024 審査員特別賞（日比野克彦選）を受賞。HERALBONYとのコラボレーションにより、受賞作品を用いたスカーフを限定販売。絵画、テキスタイル、彫刻、テキストといった多様な表現を通して、失明という自身の経験と向き合いながら、美術における視覚に対するの先入観に疑問を投げかけている。直接的な観察ではなく、記憶や感覚的な手がかりから生まれる作品は、触覚性と素材の存在感を強く意識させる。

In 2023, S. Proski received an MFA in painting at Boston University College of Fine Arts. In 2024, they traveled to Warsaw, Poland to do advanced research on a Fulbright Research and Study Scholarship. In the same year, they won a HERALBONY Art Prize 2024 Jury Prize (selected by Katsuhiko Hibino). They, in collaboration with HERALBONY, released a limited edition scarf featuring their award-winning work, marking their first on-site production in Japan. Their practice engages with personal experiences of blindness through painting,textiles, sculpture, and text, with the aim of challenging the bias towards vision in art. Working from memory and sensory cues, rather than direct observation, the artist creates layered, tactile paintings that emphasize materiality and touch.

和田彩花
群馬県高崎市出身。アイドル。2019年ハロー！プロジェクト、アンジュルムを卒業。アイドルグループでの活動経験を通して、フェミニズム、ジェンダーの視点からアイドルについて、アイドルの労働問題について発信する。音楽：オルタナポップバンド「和田彩花とオムニバス」、ダブ・アンビエンスのアブストラクトバンド「LOLOET（ロロエ）」にて作詞、歌、朗読等を担当する。美術：実践女子大学大学院博士前期課程美術史学修了、美術館や展覧会について執筆、メディア出演する。

LOLOET
2023年、和田彩花がパリ留学中、より自由な音楽表現を求めて東京のミュージシャンたちとLOLOETを結成。 パリでのフィールド・レコーディングや東京でのスタジオ・ワークを重ね、2023年10月、初の楽曲『SŒUR』を発表。続いて、和田が帰国後の2024年3月、「une petite pensée」を自主レーベルよりカセットテープと配信にてリリース。 さらに2025年5月には、シングル『ELLE』をアナログレコードでタフビーツよりリリースしている。関係し合いながらめぐり、ひびく「環響音」をテーマに、アンビエントドローン、DUB、実験音楽、環境音楽、即興演奏などに日本の祭祀的高揚感を取り入れたオルタナティブな音楽性で、ライブハウスのみならず、本屋、美術館、アートスペースなど場所を選ばず活動している。

Ayaka WADA
Born in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, Ayaka Wada is an idol who graduated from the group ANGERME (Hello! Project) in 2019. Drawing on her experience, she speaks publicly about idols and issues related to labor conditions in the idol industry from feminist and gender perspectives. In the area of music, she writes lyrics, sings, and does recitation for the alternative pop band Ayaka Wada and Omnibus, and for the dub-ambient abstract band LOLOET. In the area of visual arts, as a recipient of an MA in art history at Jissen Women’s University, she writes about museums and exhibitions and appears in various media.

LOLOET
LOLOET was formed in 2023 by musician Ayaka Wada during her studies in Paris, together with musicians based in Tokyo, seeking a freer form of musical expression. The group developed its work through field recordings made in Paris and studio work in Tokyo, and released its first track, “SŒUR,” in October 2023. In March 2024, after Wada returned to Japan, the single “une petite pensée” was independently released on cassette tape and streaming platforms. In May 2025, the single “ELLE” was released on vinyl through Tuff Beats. Their practice centers on the concept of ‘kankyo-on’ (environmental sounds), described as sounds that circulate, interact, and resonate with one another. It incorporates ambient drone, dub, experimental music, environmental music, and improvisation, alongside elements of Japanese ritualistic intensity. The group performs across a range of contexts, including live music venues, bookstores, museums, and art spaces.

ダンサー・振付家。舞台芸術、音楽フェスティバル、メディアなど様々なシーンで動きの美学を展開。即興から身体への新たなアプローチを探り、振付/表現する。また他分野のアーティストとのコラボレーション、多くの振付/演出家作品に出演、10カ国31都市で本番を迎える。近年ではFESTIVAL de FRUE、映画、CMへの振付出演、笠井爾示×小暮香帆 写真展「second hand」、”beautiful people 2023 SS”パリコレクション出演、ワークショップ講師等。近年の作品「D ea r 」（2023）、「霧と斜面の隙間風」「inner silence」(2026)など。

Dancer and choreographer. She has pursued an aesthetics of movement across a variety of areas, including performing arts, music festivals, and media contexts. She explores new approaches to the body through improvisation and choreography, and creates and performs her own works. She also collaborates with artists from other disciplines and appears in numerous works by choreographers and directors, and has performed in 10 countries and 31 cities. In recent years, she has worked as a choreographer and performer for the music festival FESTIVAL de FRUE, film, and commercials. Her activities also include the photo exhibition “second hand” by photographer Chikashi Kasai in collaboration with Kaho Kogure, and participation in the Paris Fashion Week 2023 Spring/Summer runway presentation for beautiful people. She also works as a workshop instructor. Her recent works include “D ea r ” (2023), “Kiri to shamen no sukimakaze,” and “inner silence” (2026).

田所淳
共愛学園前橋国際大学教授。クリエイティブコーダー。アルゴリズムを用いた音響合成による音楽作品の創作、ラップトップコンピュータを用いた音と映像によるライブコーディングを行う。近年は音響と映像を融合したインスタレーション作品や、ライブコーディングのパフォーマンスを、アルスエレクトロニカ・フェスティバルをはじめ国内外で作品を発表している。クリエイティブコーディングやライブコーディングに関する技術資料をWebサイトで公開、多くの学生やクリエイターに活用されている。著書に『Processing クリエイティブ・コーディング入門──コードが生み出す創造表現』『Beyond Interaction［改訂第3 版］──クリエイティブ・コーディングのためのopenFrameworks実践ガイド』『演奏するプログラミング、ライブコーディングの思想と実践──Show Us Your Screens』など。

池田謙
即興電子音楽家、作曲家。池田謙は、FMサイン波を独自のプロセッシングによって縫い合わせることで電子音の粒子を即興的に生成し、音が立ち上がり消滅する瞬間における聴き手の「内的風景」の揺らぎ、減衰、そして消失を追体験させることを試みている。これまでに6枚のソロアルバムを発表し、David Toop、Eddie Prévost、John Russell、Carl Stone らと共演。また、Hiroshi Sugimoto、Tadanori Yokoo、Mariko Mori、Min Tanaka、Komuai、David Lynch など、現代美術や舞踊作品のためのサウンドトラックも数多く手がけている。

クリストフ・シャルル
フランス・マルセイユ生まれ、東京在住。環境音やフィールドレコーディングを用い、コンピュータ・プログラムによる作曲を行うサウンドアーティスト、作曲家。個々の音の自律性や、階層構造を持たない音響構成を重視した作品で知られる。音響、映像、インスタレーションを横断しながら、国内外で作品発表や演奏活動を行っている。

田中悠美子
義太夫三味線・エレクトリック大正琴奏者／作曲家。古典芸能界で活動する一方、実験音楽・現代音楽・即興演奏・舞台／映像音楽など幅広く活躍。カール・ストーン、ジョン・ゾーン、イクエ・モリ、ジム・オルーク、大友良英ら国内外の音楽家と共演。現代音楽では柴田南雄、高橋悠治、三輪眞弘、藤倉大などの作品を演奏する。

マイカ・シルバー

小野田賢三
コンセプチュアルアーティスト、1961年前橋市生まれ。大阪芸術大学（音響学）中退。NTTでのエンジニア勤務を経て、40代でアーティストへと転身。音響やデジタルシステム構築の深い知見を活かし、技術を社会への問い（アート）へと昇華させる独自のスタイルを確立した。DIC川村記念美術館や独クンストハーレ・デュッセルドルフでの企画展に参加。群馬音楽センター等でのサウンドパフォーマンスなど、国内外の第一線で精力的な活動を展開している。

Atsushi Tadokoro
Professor at Kyoai Gakuen University. Creative coder. He creates musical works using algorithmic sound synthesis and develops live coding performances combining sound and image through the use of laptop computers. In recent years, he has presented installation works integrating sound and visual media, as well as live coding performances, in Japan and internationally, including at the Ars Electronica Festival. He also publishes technical resources on creative coding and live coding through his website, which are widely used by students and creators. His publications include “Processing Creative Coding Nyumon: Code ga Umidasu Sozo Hyogen”; “Beyond Interaction [Third Revised Edition]: Practical Guide to openFrameworks for Creative Coding”; and “Enso Suru Programming: Live Coding no Shiso to Jissen — Show Us Your Screens,” among others.

Jim O'Rourke
Jim O’Rourke is an American musician, composer, and producer working across a wide range of fields, including experimental music, rock, electronic music, and film music. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Sonic Youth, Wilco, and Merzbow, while also maintaining a highly regarded solo practice that traverses improvisation, minimalism, and pop songwriting. He is currently based in Hokuto, Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, with his partner, musician Eiko Ishibashi.

Carl Stone
Carl Stone is a composer and electronic musician born in Los Angeles, United States. He is known as a pioneer of live electronics using sampling and computers, and is highly regarded for a distinctive practice in which everyday sounds and existing audio materials are meticulously edited and transformed. While drawing on traditions within minimal music and experimental music, he has produced a wide range of works that traverse pop, environmental sound, and improvisation. He has been based in Japan for many years and has held performances and mounted installations at festivals, museums, and concert halls in Japan and abroad.

Michael J Schumacher
Michael J Schumacher is a composer and sound artist based in New York, United States. He is known for spatial sound installations and multichannel works that use sustained tones and subtle acoustic variations, with a focus on the relationship between architectural space and the environment. Working across electronic sound, minimal music, and improvisation, he develops works that question the nature of the auditory experience itself. His works have been presented in a variety of contexts, including museums, galleries, and public spaces, both in Japan and internationally.

suzueri (Elico Suzuki)
An artist and musician whose practice centers on sound and spans electronics, self-built instruments, performance, and installation. She constructs original devices using everyday objects, electronic components, and discarded materials, and is known for improvisational performances and spatial expressions that incorporate physicality and humor. She has been active in Japan and internationally, performing at museums, live music venues, and festivals, and has presenting works widely across the fields of experimental music and media art.

Ken Ikeda
Improvisational electronic musician and composer. Ken Ikeda improvisationally generates particles of electronic sound by stitching together FM sine waves through his own processing methods. His work attempts to evoke fluctuations, attenuation, and disappearance within the listener’s “inner landscape” at the moments when sound emerges and dissipates. He has released six solo albums and has performed with David Toop, Eddie Prévost, John Russell, and Carl Stone. Ikeda has also produced numerous soundtracks for contemporary art and dance works by Hiroshi Sugimoto, Tadanori Yokoo, Mariko Mori, Min Tanaka, Komuai, and David Lynch.

Christophe Charles
Born in Marseille, France, and currently based in Tokyo, Christophe Charles is a sound artist and composer who works with environmental sound, field recordings, and computer-based composition. He is known for works that emphasize the autonomy of individual sounds and non-hierarchical sonic structures. He works across audio, video, and installation, presenting his work and holding performances in Japan and internationally.

Yumiko Tanaka
Yumiko Tanaka is a performer of Gidayu shamisen and electric taishogoto, as well as a composer. While active in the field of traditional performing arts, she also works across experimental music, contemporary music, improvisation, and music for stage and film. She has collaborated with musicians including Carl Stone, John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Jim O’Rourke, and Otomo Yoshihide. In the field of contemporary music, she has performed works by Minao Shibata, Yuji Takahashi, Masahiro Miwa, and Dai Fujikura.

Micah Silver
Micah Silver is an American artist and composer working at the intersection of sound, space, and technology. He is a co-founder of the collective Polytope, which integrates sound into the design of cultural spaces, and he collaborates with museums, architects, and exhibition designers. He is currently establishing Black Hole, an immersive listening space in Tokyo.

Kenzo Onoda
Conceptual artist. Born in 1961 in Maebashi, Japan. Studied acoustics at Osaka University of Arts, leaving before graduation. After working as an engineer at NTT, he transitioned to a career as an artist in his forties. As a conceptual artist, he has developed a practice that draws on his extensive knowledge of acoustics and digital systems, transforming technology into artistic inquiries that engage with society. His work has been presented in exhibitions at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany. He has also presented sound performances at venues including Gunma Music Center, and continues to exhibit and perform in Japan and internationally.

Kenzo Onoda
Conceptual artist. Born in 1961 in Maebashi, Japan. Studied acoustics at Osaka University of Arts, leaving before graduation. After working as an engineer at NTT, he transitioned to a career as an artist in his forties. Christophe Charles
Born in Marseille, France, and currently based in Tokyo, Christophe Charles is a sound artist and composer who works with environmental sound, field recordings, and computer-based composition. He is known for works that emphasize the autonomy of individual sounds and non-hierarchical sonic structures. He works across audio, video, and installation, presenting his work and holding performances in Japan and internationally.

Yumiko Tanaka
Yumiko Tanaka is a performer of Gidayu shamisen and electric taishogoto, as well as a composer. While active in the field of traditional performing arts, she also works across experimental music, contemporary music, improvisation, and music for stage and film. She has collaborated with musicians including Carl Stone, John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Jim O’Rourke, and Otomo Yoshihide. In the field of contemporary music, she has performed works by Minao Shibata, Yuji Takahashi, Masahiro Miwa, and Dai Fujikura.

Micah Silver
Micah Silver is an American artist and composer working at the intersection of sound, space, and technology. He is a co-founder of the collective Polytope, which integrates sound into the design of cultural spaces, and he collaborates with museums, architects, and exhibition designers. He is currently establishing Black Hole, an immersive listening space in Tokyo.

Kenzo Onoda
Conceptual artist. Born in 1961 in Maebashi, Japan. Studied acoustics at Osaka University of Arts, leaving before graduation. After working as an engineer at NTT, he transitioned to a career as an artist in his forties. As a conceptual artist, he has developed a practice that draws on his extensive knowledge of acoustics and digital systems, transforming technology into artistic inquiries that engage with society. His work has been presented in exhibitions at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany. He has also presented sound performances at venues including Gunma Music Center, and continues to exhibit and perform in Japan and internationally.

田所淳

池田謙
即興電子音楽家、作曲家。池田謙は、FMサイン波を独自のプロセッシングによって縫い合わせることで電子音の粒子を即興的に生成し、音が立ち上がり消滅する瞬間における聴き手の「内的風景」の揺らぎ、減衰、そして消失を追体験させることを試みている。これまでに6枚のソロアルバムを発表し、David Toop、Eddie Prévost、John Russell、Carl Stone らと共演。また、Hiroshi Sugimoto、Tadanori Yokoo、Mariko Mori、Min Tanaka、Komuai、David Lynch など、現代美術や舞踊作品のためのサウンドトラックも数多く手がけている。

クリストフ・シャルル

田中悠美子
義太夫三味線・エレクトリック大正琴奏者／作曲家。古典芸能界で活動する一方、実験音楽・現代音楽・即興演奏・舞台／映像音楽など幅広く活躍。カール・ストーン、ジョン・ゾーン、イクエ・モリ、ジム・オルーク、大友良英ら国内外の音楽家と共演。現代音楽では柴田南雄、高橋悠治、三輪眞弘、藤倉大などの作品を演奏する。

小野田賢三
コンセプチュアルアーティスト、1961年前橋市生まれ。大阪芸術大学（音響学）中退。NTTでのエンジニア勤務を経て、40代でアーティストへと転身。音響やデジタルシステム構築の深い知見を活かし、技術を社会への問い（アート）へと昇華させる独自のスタイルを確立した。DIC川村記念美術館や独クンストハーレ・デュッセルドルフでの企画展に参加。群馬音楽センター等でのサウンドパフォーマンスなど、国内外の第一線で精力的な活動を展開している。

Professor at Kyoai Gakuen University. Creative coder. He creates musical works using algorithmic sound synthesis and develops live coding performances combining sound and image through the use of laptop computers. In recent years, he has presented installation works integrating sound and visual media, as well as live coding performances, in Japan and internationally, including at the Ars Electronica Festival. He also publishes technical resources on creative coding and live coding through his website, which are widely used by students and creators. His publications include “Processing Creative Coding Nyumon: Code ga Umidasu Sozo Hyogen”; “Beyond Interaction [Third Revised Edition]: Practical Guide to openFrameworks for Creative Coding”; and “Enso Suru Programming: Live Coding no Shiso to Jissen — Show Us Your Screens,” among others.

Jim O'Rourke
Jim O’Rourke is an American musician, composer, and producer working across a wide range of fields, including experimental music, rock, electronic music, and film music. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Sonic Youth, Wilco, and Merzbow, while also maintaining a highly regarded solo practice that traverses improvisation, minimalism, and pop songwriting. He is currently based in Hokuto, Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, with his partner, musician Eiko Ishibashi.

Carl Stone
Carl Stone is a composer and electronic musician born in Los Angeles, United States. He is known as a pioneer of live electronics using sampling and computers, and is highly regarded for a distinctive practice in which everyday sounds and existing audio materials are meticulously edited and transformed. While drawing on traditions within minimal music and experimental music, he has produced a wide range of works that traverse pop, environmental sound, and improvisation. He has been based in Japan for many years and has held performances and mounted installations at festivals, museums, and concert halls in Japan and abroad.

Michael J Schumacher
Michael J Schumacher is a composer and sound artist based in New York, United States. He is known for spatial sound installations and multichannel works that use sustained tones and subtle acoustic variations, with a focus on the relationship between architectural space and the environment. Working across electronic sound, minimal music, and improvisation, he develops works that question the nature of the auditory experience itself. His works have been presented in a variety of contexts, including museums, galleries, and public spaces, both in Japan and internationally.

suzueri (Elico Suzuki)
An artist and musician whose practice centers on sound and spans electronics, self-built instruments, performance, and installation. She constructs original devices using everyday objects, electronic components, and discarded materials, and is known for improvisational performances and spatial expressions that incorporate physicality and humor. She has been active in Japan and internationally, performing at museums, live music venues, and festivals, and has presenting works widely across the fields of experimental music and media art.

Ken Ikeda
Improvisational electronic musician and composer. Ken Ikeda improvisationally generates particles of electronic sound by stitching together FM sine waves through his own processing methods. His work attempts to evoke fluctuations, attenuation, and disappearance within the listener’s “inner landscape” at the moments when sound emerges and dissipates. He has released six solo albums and has performed with David Toop, Eddie Prévost, John Russell, and Carl Stone. Photographer/Director. Katsu Naito moved to New York on his own at the age of 18 and spent over forty years photographing the city before returning to Japan in 2025. Grounded in a serene and observant gaze, he spent extended periods within Harlem and Manhattan during the 1990s, sharing time and space with marginalized communities and portraying their humanity with quiet depth. His major works, West Side Rendezvous (2010) and Once in Harlem (2017), are celebrated for capturing the dignity and emotional landscape of everyday life. His photographs have been exhibited internationally and featured in HBO’s The Stroll (2023), FOX’s The Woman in the Window (2021), and Apple TV’s Ripple Effects (2021). In 2023, he received a grant from the Rema Hort Mann Foundation. He currently resides in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture.

Artist. Kotaro Sekiguchi was born in 1983 in Maebashi, Gunma, Japan. He first made a stegosaurus using newsprint and adhesive tape during his summer vacation while in the third grade of elementary school. For his graduation project in the Sculpture Department at Tama Art University, he produced “Shunkan Jiin (Instant Temple),” a work exceeding six meters in height. In 2012, he received the 15th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art. In 2014, he published “Oya-ko de Jiyu Kenkyu: Shimbunshi to Gamu Tape de Konna ni Tsukureta with Kodansha,” which is currently available as an e-book. He has participated in exhibitions including “In BEPPU” (2019); “New Horizon: Vision of the Future, Arts Maebashi 10th Anniversary Exhibition,” Arts Maebashi (2023); and “Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2024,” Niigata (2024). Along with his job working at Asahide Gakuen, a special-needs school, he creates and exhibits artworks using newspaper and adhesive tape across Japan and holds workshops based on these materials and method.

Artist/Painter. She graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, specializing in Applied Painting, where she also completed her MA studies. During her studies, she was awarded multiple scholarships, including the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development scholarship and the Dositej scholarship from the Foundation for Young Talents. She is the recipient of the Aleksandar Tomašević Award for academic excellence, the ULUPUDS Award in the field of applied painting, and the Vučković Award for young artists from her hometown, Pančevo.In 2021, she was awarded the MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship for research in oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts, where she became a regular student in April 2023 to pursue a second MA. She graduated in March 2025 and continues to work as an artist between Japan and Serbia.

Artist. Ebihara was born in 2003 and graduated in 2025 with a degree in oil painting from the Tokyo University of the Arts. Born and raised in Hong Kong to Japanese and Korean parents, she grew up within an English-language environment and was exposed to diverse cultures from childhood on, a background that gives her observations a unique perspective. While mainly a painter, she also chooses to work with sculpture and printmaking, depending on the theme.

Painter. Kagami Kigitsu was born in Tokyo in 2000 and is currently majoring in painting in the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. She uses familiar motifs to depict fluctuations in memory and time, seeking to create a new kind of landscape in oil painting. Her awards include the CAF Award 2025, MUWA NISEKO AiR 2025 Excellence Prize, and the Tokio Marine & Nichido Future Award at the 12th Mirai Exhibition. Her solo exhibitions include “Cutting melon” (TURNER GALLERY, 2024) and “Kumori Garasu no Ryote” (MIDORI.so Nakameguro Gallery, 2025). She has also been in many group shows.

群馬県前橋市に2023年5月オープンした、アートと生活が融合する複合施設まえばしガレリアは、平田晃久建築設計事務所が設計を手がけ、「一本の樹の下に人が集まるように」というコンセプトのもと、光と風が通り抜ける樹冠のような中庭を囲むように、ギャラリー、レストラン、住宅が配置されています。1階にはタカイシイや小山登美夫ギャラリーなど日本屈指のギャラリーが入居しており、白井屋ホテルに続き、前橋をアートの街として発展させるためのフラッグシップとして建設されました。

Maebashi Galleria opened in May 2023 as a mixed-use complex where art and daily life converge. Envisioned by the Architect Akihisa Hirata as a public square where people gather “under a single tree,” the Galleria comprises galleries, restaurants, and residences arranged around a canopy-like courtyard that allows light and breezes to pass through. The first floor houses some of Japan's leading galleries, including Taka Ishii Gallery and Tomio Koyama Gallery. The complex follows the Shiroiya Hotel as a flagship project for the development of Maebashi as an art city.

ドットアーキテクツ（dot architects）／2004年に設立された建築家ユニット。大阪・北加賀屋にて、「もうひとつの社会を実践するための協働スタジオ」コーポ北加賀屋を拠点に活動。設計、施工のプロセスにおいて専門家・非専門家に関わらず様々な人との協働を実践している。設計だけに留まらず、現場施工、リサーチプロジェクト、アートプロジェクトなど様々な企画にもかかわる。現在のメンバーは家成俊勝、赤代武志、土井亘、池田藍、宮地敬子、勝部涼亮、小林明日香、倉橋風人の８名。主な作品に「Umaki camp」（2013, 香川）、「千鳥文化」（2017, 大阪）、「仮の家」（2022, 静岡）などがある。

dot architects is an architectural unit founded in 2004. Based in Kitakagaya district, Osaka, the group operates from Kopo Kitakagaya, a collaborative studio dedicated to practicing an alternative form of society. Their practice involves collaboration with a wide range of participants in the processes of design and construction, including both specialists and non-specialists. Their activities extend beyond architectural design to on-site construction, research projects, and art projects. The current members are Toshikatsu Ienari, Takeshi Akashiro, Wataru Doi, Ai Ikeda, Keiko Miyachi, Ryosuke Katsube, Asuka Kobayashi, and Futo Kurahashi. Major works include “Umaki Camp,” Kagawa (2013); “Chidori-Bunka,” Osaka (2017); and “Kari no ie” (On-hold House), Shizuoka (2022).

MEET YOUR ART
アートやアーティストの魅力を社会へ広く届け、新たな文化体験を創出することを目指して2020年に始動した現代アートプロジェクト。アート専門の動画メディア「MEET YOUR ART」をはじめ、国内最大級のアートフェスティバル「MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL」やアートスペース「WALL_alternative」の運営、企業・行政との共創による展覧会や地域プロジェクトなどを通じて、アートと社会をつなぐ活動を展開している。

風街夕やけマルシェ
「風街夕やけマルシェ」は、平日の夕方に人通りが少なくなる前橋中心商店街に、日常的なにぎわいを生み出すことを目指して始まったマーケットです。毎週金曜の夕暮れどき、飲食やドリンク、雑貨、古着、ワークショップなど多彩な店が並び、音楽とともに買い物や交流を楽しめます。「夕やけ見えたら遊びにおいで。」を合言葉に、街と人、人と人がゆるやかにつながり、前橋の新しい日常を育てる週末の入口となっています。

MEET YOUR ART
A contemporary art project launched in 2020 with the aim of bringing the appeal of art and artists to a wider audience and creating new cultural experiences. Its activities include MEET YOUR ART, an art-focused video media platform; MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL, one of Japan's largest art festivals; and WALL_alternative, an art space. Through exhibitions and regional projects developed in collaboration with companies and public organizations, it fosters connections between art and society.

Kazemachi Yuyake Marche
The Kazemachi Yuyake Marche was launched to bring a sense of everyday vitality to central Maebashi’s shopping streets, where foot traffic tends to slow down on weekday evenings. Held around sunset on Fridays, the market brings together a diverse range of food and drink vendors, shops selling crafts and vintage clothing, workshops, and music. Under the motto “Come and join us when you see the sunset,” it offers a welcoming start to the weekend, creating new connections between people and the city—and among people themselves.

The brand develops collaborations between artists’ works and a wide range of objects, activities, and spaces, while also organizing training programs, events, and art workshops that expand points of engagement with disability. Its creative approach, which challenges social stereotypes and fixed perceptions, was recognized with the Gold Award in the Glass: The Lion for Change category at Cannes Lions 2025, one of the world’s largest international festivals for advertising and creative communication.

前橋市の千代田町にある前橋市民交流プラザ等駐車場(現在のミヤケン元気21パーキング)内の旧映画館施設を再利用し2018年3月に開館。オープニング作品は『ラ・ラ・ランド(La La Land)』。コンセプトは“映画はもう一人の家族”。家族のように映画を身近に感じてもらえるよう世代やミニシアターらしさにはとらわれない作品の上映を行う。アーツ前橋、前橋文学館との連携事業や市民団体との共同上映・交流やこどもシネマハウス、インクルーシブ映画祭など独自の取り組みも行い街中の賑わい創出を目指している

Maebashi Cinema House was opened in March 2018 in a former cinema repurposed within the Maebashi Civic Exchange Plaza Parking Facility (now Miyaken Genki 21 Parking) in Chiyoda-Machi, Maebashi. Its opening screening was “La La Land.” Guided by the concept, ‘Movies are another family,’ the cinema presents films across generations and beyond the conventional boundaries of an arthouse cinema, making cinema a familiar part of everyday life. In addition to its regular screenings, it collaborates with Arts Maebashi and the Maebashi Bungakukan (Maebashi City Museum of Literature), co-organizes screenings and exchange programs with local civic groups, and develops original initiatives such as the Children's Cinema House and the Inclusive Film Festival, contributing to the revitalization of the city center.

1976年〜「アート」と「ケア」の視点から、奈良を拠点にさまざまな事業を実施している市民団体。アートと社会の新しい関係をつくる「ABLE ART MOVEMENT（可能性の芸術運動）」を1995年に提唱。芸術の社会化、社会の芸術化をめざし、展覧会やワークショップ、セミナー、調査研究などに取り組んでいる。近年では障害のある人とともにあたらしい仕事や働き方を実践する「Good Job!プロジェクト」や「NEW TRADITIONAL」を展開。異分野連携による新しい価値の提案を目指している。

Founded in 1976, Tanpopo-no-Ye is a civic organization based in Nara that carries out various initiatives from the perspectives of ‘art’ and ‘care.’ In 1995, it proposed the Able Art Movement, aiming to create new relationships between art and society. It works toward the socialization of art and the artification of society through exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and research activities. In recent years, it has developed initiatives such as the Good Job! Project and NEW TRADITIONAL, both of which engage in new forms of work and employment in collaboration with people with disabilities. The organization seeks to propose new forms of value through cross-disciplinary collaboration.

白川昌生(Yoshio Shirakawa)
1948年福岡県北九州市戸畑生まれ。1970年代にフランス、ドイツで哲学と美術を学ぶ。1981年デュッセルドルフ国立美術大学卒業。修士称号を受ける。1983年に帰国後、群馬を拠点に自らの住む場所をテーマに制作活動を行う。近年の主な展覧会として、個展「白川昌生展 ここが地獄か、極楽か。」（原爆の図　丸木美術館、2021）、「表現の生態系 世界との関係をつくりかえる」（アーツ前橋、2018）、個展「- 消された記憶 – 長崎/ 群馬」（コンセプトスペース、2018）、「群馬の美術2017─地域社会における現代美術の居場所」（群馬県立近代美術館、2017）「あいちトリエンナーレ 2016 – 虹のキャラヴァンサライ」（2016）など。

Tamm
1978年群馬県生まれ。
自然豊かな環境で育ち、ストリートやクラブカルチャーに影響を受け独学で創作を始める。「視えない境界の視覚化」をテーマに、ジャンルを横断するミクスチャーな表現を展開。
2020年代以降は独自概念「ディファレンタマテリアリズム」を提唱し、異素材・異文化・直感を融合させた視覚的スラング的作品を発表し続けている。


藤井光(Hikaru fujii)
アーティスト。インスタレーション、映像、ワークショップなど多様なメディアを用いて、芸術、歴史、社会の間で展開する作品を制作する。その実践は、特定の歴史的瞬間や社会問題を出発点とし、リサーチやフィールドワークに基づいている。作品を通じて、現代および歴史上の危機や構造的暴力を考察し、それらが社会に与える影響や意味を探求する。主な展覧会歴には、東京国立近代美術館、東京都現代美術館、M+、韓国国立現代美術館（MMCA）、ポンピドゥ・センター（メッス）、Kadist（パリ）、HKW（ベルリン）などの他に、アジア・パシフィック・トリエンナーレ（2021）、アルル国際写真フェスティバル（2024）などの国際芸術祭に多数参加する。Tokyo Contemporary Art Award 2020–2022を受賞。東京藝術大学 大学院美術研究科グローバルアートプラクティス専攻准教授。


Midori Miyamori
1997年生まれ。矛盾した状態を引き受ける時間を経験するためのパフォーマンス行いながら、プロジェクト型作品の企画や参加を続けている。 主な活動に、自己の管理と管理できなさを2週間かけてパフォーマンスするプロジェクト「Meteorology of Tears」（2026・東京）、ある人の1日をダイジェストにしたものを即興で上演するシリーズ「Trace a Day」（2023〜）、マッチングアプリで出会ったアンナちゃんと過ごした時間から着想したインスタレーションによる個展「Anna」（2023）など。 参加したプロジェクトに「六本木アートナイト2023」「MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2024 関連企画FAYM」「Respondieg7: non capital letters」（2025）「COURTYARD HIROO Artist in Residence 2025」など。

前橋映像祭（Maebashi Media Festival）
「前橋映像祭」は、2010年に「弁天通り映像祭」として始まった公募型の映像祭です。これまで、群馬県・前橋市を会場に、映画、ドキュメンタリー、ビデオ・アート作品、ライブ・パフォーマンス作品、音響作品など、さまざまな形態の作品が集まり、映画監督やアーティスト、ミュージシャンをはじめ、たくさんの人々に参加して頂きました。
特徴は、前橋という「場所性」にこだわりながら、一般の商業的な映画館や美術館、ギャラリーでは上映や上演が難しい領域横断的で個性的な作品を、みんなで一緒に鑑賞しながらじっくりと密度の高い議論を行うというかたちをとってきたところです。

Yoshio Shirakawa
Yoshio Shirakawa was born in Tobata, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka prefecture in 1948. In the 1970s, he studied philosophy and art in France and Germany. He graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 1981 with a master’s degree. After returning to Japan in 1983, he has been based in Gunma and has developed his practice around the theme of the places where he lives. Recent major exhibitions include the solo exhibition “Yoshio Shirakawa: Is this Inferno or Paradise, Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels,” Saitama (2021); “The Ecology of Expression: Remaking Our Relations with the World,” Arts Maebashi, Gunma (2018); the solo exhibition “– A Memory Erased – Nagasaki | Gunma,” Concept Space (2018); “Contemporary Art in Gunma 2017 – Where contemporary art belongs in the community,” The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma (2017); and “Aichi Triennale 2016 – Homo Faber: A Rainbow Caravan” (2016).

Tamm
Born in 1978 in Gunma, Japan. Raised in a natural environment, Tamm began creating work independently under the influence of street and club culture. Working across disciplines, Tamm develops a hybrid practice centered on the theme of "visualizing invisible boundaries." Since the 2020s, Tamm has proposed the original concept of "Differenta Materialism," and has continued to produce works that combine disparate materials, cultures, and intuition into a form of visual slang.

Hikaru Fujii
Artist. Creates installations, videos, workshops, and works across a range of media that operate between art, history, and society. His practice begins with specific historical moments and social issues and is grounded in research and fieldwork. Through his work, he examines contemporary and historical crises and structural violence, exploring their impact on and significance within society. His work has been exhibited at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo; M+; National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA); Centre Pompidou-Metz; Kadist, Paris; and HKW, Berlin. He has also participated in numerous international exhibitions and festivals, including the Asia Pacific Triennial (2021) and Les Rencontres d'Arles (2024). Recipient of the Tokyo Contemporary Art Award 2020–2022. Associate Professor, Global Art Practice, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts.

Midori Miyamori
She was born in 1997. She creates installations and performances while developing projects that explore methods of experiencing time through the acceptance of contradictory conditions. Her solo exhibitions include (mis)understand (BUoY, 2022), Anna (OGU MAG, 2023), and One Family Story (OGU MAG, 2024). Her organized projects and events include Meteorology of Tears (Gallery Dalston, 2026) and The Moment (SUBTERRANEAN, 2026). She has also participated in FAYM (Wall_alternative, 2024), Responding Performance Art Initiative(2025~) and the Echoes of Voice (CYH, 2025).

Maebashi Media Festival
The Maebashi Media Festival is an open-call media festival established in 2010 as the Benten-dori Film Festival. Held in Maebashi, Gunma, it has brought together a wide range of works, including films, documentaries, video art, live performances, and sound works, with participation from filmmakers, artists, musicians, and many others. The festival places particular emphasis on the locality of Maebashi while presenting interdisciplinary and distinctive works that are often difficult to screen or stage in commercial cinemas, museums, or galleries. It provides a setting in which audiences experience these works together and engage in in-depth discussion.

飯沢康輔
1965年横浜に生まれる。東京藝術大学で彫刻を学ぶ。
東京中心に個展やグループ展を多数。2011年中之条ビエンナーレの参加を切っ掛けに移住し活動拠点を群馬県に移す。同芸術祭に参加しながら地域とアートの関係を模索する。2021年頃から自身の表現をより掘り下げようと絵画制作を始める。2022年沢渡温泉街に亀田屋アトリエを構え制作の傍らギャラリーを運営している。

関根健一/セキネ洋傘店
1904年(明治37年)創業の洋傘専門店の4代目、創業以来弁天通りで営業を続け、傘の販売や修理を行う。25年ほど前に始めた「タンスに眠った着物を日傘に作り直します」というコンセプトが全国から評判を集めている。

天笠恵子/ニャムコム 服飾作案
1971年前橋生まれ。 1994年女子美術短期大学専攻科服飾専攻卒業。1999年伊勢崎市にて「CAFEニャムコム」オープン。2006年前橋市弁天通り商店街Ya-man’s（現ya-gins）裏にアトリエショップ「ニャムコム」オーブン。服飾を中心としたテキスタイル作品を制作。現在に至る。2022年より関根氏に師事し日傘作りを学んでいる。

Kosuke Iizawa
Born in 1965 in Yokohama, Japan. Studied sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, primarily in Tokyo. Relocated to Gunma in 2011 after participating in the Nakanojo Biennale, where he has continued to explore the relationship between art and local communities through his involvement with the festival. Around 2021, he began painting in order to further deepen his artistic expression. In 2022, he established KAMEDAYa Atelier in the Sawatari Onsen district, where he continues his studio practice while also operating a gallery.

Kenichi Sekine / Sekine Umbrella Store
Fourth-generation owner of Sekine Umbrella Store, a specialty umbrella shop established in 1904. Since its founding, the shop has operated on Benten-dori in Maebashi, offering umbrella sales and repair services. For approximately 25 years, he has developed umbrellas from unused kimono under the concept, ‘Transforming kimono resting in chests of drawers into parasols,’ a practice that has attracted attention from across Japan.

Keiko Amagasa / Nyamcom Fashion Designer
Born in 1971 in Maebashi, Japan. Completed the Advanced Course in Fashion Design at Joshibi Junior College of Art and Design in 1994. Opened CAFE Nyamcom in Isesaki in 1999, followed by the atelier shop Nyamcom behind Ya-man's (now ya-gins) in the Benten-dori Shopping Street, Maebashi, in 2006. Creates textile works centered on clothing and fashion. Since 2022, she has studied parasol making under Kenichi Sekine.

光景旅団は代表小出和彦が98年前橋で発足、サイト・スペシフィックな演劇を模索してきました。郡司厚太さんはa/r/t/s Lab主宰の俳優であると同時にインプロ（即興演劇）と教育に関する研究活動を行い、東野善典さんは劇団涙(なだ)主宰の俳優兼演出家で殺陣の名手、中村ひろみさんは演劇プロデュースとろんぷ・るいゆ主宰で大学の演劇教育に関わり群馬の演劇史を編纂する著述家でもあります。

小出和彦（こいでかずひこ）
1967年前橋出身。10代より脚本家演出家として市内外で多くの演劇制作に関わる。1996年前橋市舞台芸術活性化事業作品「橋屋」で作/演出。2011年に青山学院大学ワークショップデザイナープログラム修了、大学や美術館等で演劇による地域教育に関わり、近年はアートプロジェクトの企画等にも活動を広げる。主宰する光景旅団では、演劇をつかって見慣れた風景を読み替えていくための、認識への手わるさを演出している。

Kokei Ryodan was founded in Maebashi in 1998 by its director, Kazuhiko Koide, and has since explored site-specific theatre. Kota Gunji is an actor and director of a/r/t/s Lab who also conducts research on improvisational theatre and education. Yoshinori Higashino is an actor and director of the theatre company Nada and is a master of stage combat. Hiromi Nakamura directs the theatre production group “Tronpu Ruiyu”, is involved in theatre education at the university level, and is also a writer compiling the history of theatre in Gunma.

Kazuhiko Koide
Kazuhiko Koide is a playwright and director born in Maebashi in 1967. Involved in numerous theatrical productions within and beyond the city since his teens, he wrote and directed “Hashiya” for the Maebashi City Performing Arts Revitalization Project in 1996. After completing the Workshop Designer Training Program (WSD) at Aoyama Gakuin University in 2011, he has been engaged in community education through theater at universities and museums, while also expanding his practice into art project planning. Through Kokei Ryodan, the theater unit he leads, he stages interventions into perception that use theater to reread familiar landscapes.

河津慧：2001年千葉県生まれ。群馬県前橋市在住。2024年群馬大学共同教育学部美術専攻卒業。他者や環境、自身の状態等に合わせ微妙に変わる(変わらざるを得ない)人の振る舞い方に着目し、自分とそれ以外の世界との境界を探ることをテーマに作品を制作している。

堀越吉行:1975年、群馬県前橋市生まれ。現在、藤岡市を拠点に活動をしている。絵画を制作し、絵画はまだ何かを創れるという前提を持ちながら自分の絵画に向き合っている。制作の不快に苦しみ、妄想することしかできないことを楽しいとさえ思っています。

せきあおい：2001年茨城県生まれ。劇作家。その場の音や風景、その時の体調などから言葉を探し、発話し続ける即興朗読を行う。また、自身の健康状況を起点とした様々な出会いを戯曲とパフォーマンスにする「Less than more」を継続して行っている。

平井陽子：1982年生まれ。「ほんとうのニセモノ」を根底のテーマに、日常にまぎれ込む不可視なものや、人を人たらしめる認識から生まれる素直な問い、そこに潜む問題を、新たな「景観」として軽やかでファニーに、その時々のスタイルで作り出す。

増谷幸恵： 三重県産まれ。金沢美術工芸大学大学院修士課程修了。 子供達の成長と季節の移ろい、日々のささやかな変化。そしてそこに溢れる喜びを描いている。特別ではない、何気ない日常がモチーフ。

西松秀祐：岐阜県生まれ。大分県内を拠点に活動。2012年名古屋芸術大学芸術学部(洋画コース) 卒業後、ドイツにあるブランシュバイグ芸術大学にて学ぶ。映像、テキスト、写真などを用い、人々との出会いや自身の心の機微を、歴史や社会的な出来事と重ね合わせる詩的な作品を制作している。

Kei Kawazu
Born in 2001 in Chiba, Japan. Currently lives in Maebashi, Gunma, Japan. Graduated from the Fine Arts Program, Cooperative Faculty of Education, Gunma University, in 2024. Creates works that explore the boundary between the self and the external world by focusing on the subtle ways in which human behavior shifts—or is compelled to shift—in response to others, the environment, and one's own condition.

Yoshiyuki Horikoshi
Born in 1975 in Maebashi, Gunma, Japan. Currently based in Fujioka, Gunma. He confronts his painting practice while holding to the premise that painting still has the potential to create something new. He regards both the discomfort of making and the act of imagining—when imagining is all that remains—as integral and even enjoyable aspects of his practice.

Aoi Seki
Born in 2001 in Ibaraki, Japan. Playwright. Presents improvised reading performances in which words are sought and spoken continuously in response to the sounds, landscapes, and physical condition of the moment. Also continues the project ‘Less than more,’ which develops plays and performances from encounters arising through her own health condition.

Yoko Hirai
Born in 1982. Working from the underlying theme of ‘the genuine fake,’ she creates works that lightly and humorously transform invisible elements embedded in everyday life, honest questions arising from the perceptions that make us human, and the issues concealed within them into new ‘landscapes,’ adopting different approaches according to each context.

Yukie Masutani
Born in Mie, Japan. Completed a Master's degree at Kanazawa College of Art. Her work depicts the growth of children, the changing seasons, the small transformations of everyday life, and the joy found within them. She takes ordinary, unremarkable moments of daily life as her primary motifs.

Shusuke Nishimatsu
Born in Gifu, Japan. Currently based in Oita. After graduating from the Oil Painting Course, Faculty of Art, Nagoya University of Arts, in 2012, he studied at the Braunschweig University of Art in Germany. Using video, text, photography, and other media, he creates poetic works that layer encounters with people and subtle emotional experiences with historical and social events.

カナイサワコ Sawako Kanai
1982年前橋市生まれ。武蔵野美術大学大学院彫刻コース修了。作家活動と並行して全国の民俗資料の調査や実測図作成を行う。東日本大震災で被災した文化財の調査に長年携わり、岩手県陸前高田市に移住。

寺澤由樹 Yoshiki Terasawa
1990年生まれのグラフィックデザイナー。 ブランディングやサイン計画、エディトリアル、イラストレーションなど、視覚表現を軸にさまざまなクリエイティブでの活動を展開している。地元である前橋市に在住。

柏瀬克也 Katsuya Kashiwase
1998年 群馬県生まれ。
この世界をひとつの「悲劇」として定義し、「愛」という普遍的でありながらも個人的な概念をテーマとして様々な表現を横断しながら寓話的な作品制作を行っている。

Sawako Kanai
Sawako Kanai was born in Maebashi in 1982. After completing her graduate studies in Sculpture at Musashino Art University, she has pursued her artistic practice alongside nationwide surveys and measured drawings of folklore materials. For many years she has been involved in surveying cultural properties affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and is now based in Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture.

Yoshiki Terasawa
Yoshiki Terasawa is a graphic designer born in 1990. He works across a range of creative fields centred on visual expression, including branding, signage planning, editorial design, and illustration. He is based in his hometown of Maebashi.

Katsuya Kashiwase
Katsuya Kashiwase was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1998. Defining this world as a single “tragedy,” he takes “love”—a concept at once universal and personal—as his theme, creating allegorical works that move across a variety of forms of expression.

田中隆太（Ryuta Tanaka）
前橋市産業経済部にぎわい商業課に所属。同課にてマチスタントを立ち上げ、今まで60件以上の遊休不動産マッチングに携わる。自作したストリートファニチャーを持ち寄り体験型展示を行う企画STREET FURNITURE EXHIBITION主宰。一般社団法人前橋コンディショナー理事。

アルケノード編集委員会（ARKHENODE editorial committee）
グラフィックデザイナーの寺澤由樹、編集者の市根井直規、田中隆太からなる本企画のために結成されたZINE編集チーム。アルケノードとは、「根源」を意味する古代ギリシャ語ARKHĒに人やまちをつなぐ結節点NODEを組み合わせた造語。日本語では「歩け、濃度」とも聞こえる。

Ryuta Tanaka
He works from the Business Revitalization Division, Department of Industry and Economy, Maebashi City Hall. He founded Machistant within the division and has been involved in matching more than 60 underutilized properties with new users. He is the organizer of STREET FURNITURE EXHIBITION, a participatory exhibition in which creators bring self-made street furniture for an interactive exhibition. He also serves as a director of the General Incorporated Association Maebashi Conditioner.

ARKHENODE Editorial Committee
A ZINE editorial team formed specifically for this project, consisting of graphic designer Yoshiki Terasawa, editor Naoki Ichinei, and Ryuta Tanaka. The name ‘ARKHENODE’ is a coined word combining the Ancient Greek word arkhē, meaning ‘origin,’ with the word ‘node,’ referring to a point of connection between people and places. In Japanese, the name also evokes the phrase ‘Aruke, nōdo’ (‘Walk, density’), creating a layered linguistic association.

前橋市中心市街地に拠点を構えるBentena SHOPは、地域密着型のショップ兼交流拠点として、独自のプロダクトとホッピースタンドを通じて人と情報をつなぐハブとして機能している。一方、SNARK Inc.は群馬と東京を拠点に活動する建築設計事務所で、家具から建築、公共空間、イベントまで幅広く手がける。両者は協働により、まちに新たな関係性と体験を生み出す場づくりに取り組んでいる。

Bentena SHOP is a community-based shop and gathering space located in central Maebashi. Through its original products and Hoppy stand, it functions as a hub connecting people and information within the local community. Meanwhile, SNARK Inc. is an architectural design studio based in Gunma and Tokyo. Its practice spans a wide range of scales, from furniture and architecture to public spaces and events. Through their collaboration, the two seek to create places that foster new relationships and experiences within the city.

日常の風景に些細な楽しみを生むための装置としてストリートファニチャーを考え、作り、屋外空間に設置することを通じて、まちの潜在的魅力や寛容性、奥深さの再発見を試みる。単なる屋外家具だけでなく、まちをハックする作品や社会性をテーマにした作品など、実験的な取り組みも毎年のSFEを通して拡大、変化している。主宰はマチスタントの田中隆太。

An independent team comprising the planning and management members and exhibiting artists of STREET FURNITURE EXHIBITION.
The team considers street furniture as a means of creating small moments of enjoyment in everyday urban landscapes. Through designing, making, and installing handcrafted street furniture in outdoor spaces, it seeks to rediscover the latent appeal, openness, and depth of the city. In addition to street furniture itself, its activities have expanded and evolved through each annual STREET FURNITURE EXHIBITION to include experimental works that hack urban space and works addressing social themes. The team is led by Ryuta Tanaka from Machistant.

コンセプチュアルアーティスト、1961年前橋市生まれ。大阪芸術大学（音響学）中退。NTTでのエンジニア勤務を経て、40代でアーティストへと転身。音響やデジタルシステム構築の深い知見を活かし、技術を社会への問い（アート）へと昇華させる独自のスタイルを確立した。DIC川村記念美術館や独クンストハーレ・デュッセルドルフでの企画展に参加。群馬音楽センター等でのサウンドパフォーマンスなど、国内外の第一線で精力的な活動を展開している。

Conceptual artist. Born in 1961 in Maebashi, Japan. Studied acoustics at Osaka University of Arts, leaving before graduation. After working as an engineer at NTT, he transitioned to a career as an artist in his forties.
As a conceptual artist, he has developed a practice that draws on his extensive knowledge of acoustics and digital systems, transforming technology into artistic inquiries that engage with society.
His work has been presented in exhibitions at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany. He has also presented sound performances at venues including Gunma Music Center, and continues to exhibit and perform in Japan and internationally.

「泊まれるアート」をテーマにした宿泊型アート施設『BnA HOTEL』を展開する。 宿泊費の一部がアーティストに還元される仕組み。世界中から訪れるクリエイターたちと、ローカルのコミュニティーが交流し、世界に広がるネットワークを構築する場として機能する。

松岡洋太
美術家・画家。1978年 群馬県高崎市生まれ 多摩美術大学 美術学部グラフィックデザイン学科卒業。ストリートアートとグラフィックデザインのバックグラウンドを持ち、ライブペインティングや壁画制作を通じて 独自の視覚言語を築いてきた。2021年以降、キャンバスを支持体とする作品制作を開始。 伝統的な静物画の絵画構造を咀嚼しながら、物の認識の曖昧さや、 静と動の対比を探る事で、時間や重力を可視化する。デジタルとアナログを往復する手法を取り、視覚的認識の揺らぎを生む絵画を制作している。

幼少期を里山で過ごした経験から、自然と人間が交わる境界領域や文明の廃棄物が混在する空間などに関心を持つアーティスト。身体と事物、空間との相互関係をテーマに、モノと人間との関係性や境界領域を反映させた多様な実践をしている。アートプロジェクト「ソノアイダ」のメンバーとして2025年に前橋で滞在制作を行なっている。

BnA operates BnA HOTEL, an art hotel built around the concept of ‘stay in an art piece.’ A portion of the profit from each booking is shared with participating artists. It serves as a place where creators from around the world and local communities connect, fostering exchange and building a global network.

Yohta Matsuoka
Artist and Painter. Yohta Matsuoka is an artist and painter born in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, in 1978. He graduated from the Department of Graphic Design, School of Art and Design, Tama Art University. Coming from a background in street art and graphic design, he has built a distinctive visual language through live painting and mural work. From 2021 he began working on canvas. Drawing on the pictorial structure of traditional still-life painting, he explores the ambiguity of how objects are perceived and the contrast between stillness and movement, making time and gravity visible. Working through a method that moves back and forth between the digital and the analogue, he creates paintings that generate fluctuations in visual perception.

Atsushi Aizawa
An artist whose early experiences growing up in a satoyama landscape led to an interest in liminal spaces where nature and human activity intersect, as well as environments where traces of civilization and discarded materials coexist. His practice explores the interrelations between the body, objects, and space, developing diverse works that reflect the relationships and boundaries between material objects and humans. As a member of the art project Sonoaida, he undertook a residency and production program in Maebashi in 2025.
