スペイン料理をベースに日本の食材を日本人の感性で解釈し、独自の世界を切り拓く日本橋「スペイン料理 acá」の東鉄雄シェフが、前橋の商店街に焚き火を持ち込みます。火を起こし、塊の肉や魚を豪快に焼き、見知らぬ人と食卓を囲む。食べ手もその場に参加し、共に火を囲む過程を通じて、見知らぬ人同士が共謀者となる。それは人類が太古から繰り返してきた、最も原初的な共食の形です。都市の真ん中に生まれる一日限りの光景が、共同体における食の原点を問い直します。

Chef Tetsuo Azuma of acá in Nihonbashi, who reinterprets Japanese ingredients through a Spanish culinary lens to create a world entirely his own, brings an open fire to the streets of Maebashi’s shopping arcade. Whole cuts of meat and fish are roasted over flame as strangers gather around the table. Diners themselves become part of the experience, and through the shared act of tending the fire, strangers become co-conspirators. This is among humanity’s oldest forms of communal eating. A single day’s spectacle at the heart of the city, this event questions the origins of food as a communal act.
