128カ国・地域を食べ歩き、「世界No.1フーディー」として知られる美食家・浜田岳文が、国内外のトップシェフたちと共創する前橋国際芸術祭2026の「Food as Art?」プログラム。 食を文化や芸術の域で捉える試みの一つとして、アーツ前橋で展示中の《同じ香り、異なる真実》は、「La Cime」の高田裕介と浜田が提案する「香り」の展示で、その成分をあえて明かさないことで、鑑賞者がそれぞれの嗅覚と記憶の奥にひろがるガストロノミーの旅へと誘う、対話型のインスタレーションとなっています。 本トークでは、《同じ香り、異なる真実》で高田が提示した3つの香り成分を明かし・解説するとともに、本芸術祭総合プロデューサーの田中仁も交えて、前橋における「Food as Art?」全体の試みと展望について語り合います。

Food as Art? is a program at Maebashi Biennale 2026 created by Takefumi Hamada, a gastronomy expert known as the “World’s No. 1 Foodie” for having traveled to 128 countries and regions in search of culinary delights, together with top chefs from Japan and abroad. As part of an effort to view food through the lens of culture and art, The Same Scents, Different Truths, currently on display at Arts Maebashi, is an interactive installation centered on scent, proposed by Yusuke Takada of La Cime and Hamada. By deliberately withholding the scent’s components, the installation invites each visitor on a gastronomic journey that unfolds within the depths of their own sense of smell and memory. In this talk, Takada and Hamada will reveal and explain the three scent components behind The Same Scents, Different Truths. They’ll be joined by Hitoshi Tanaka, the festival’s general producer, for a conversation on the initiative and outlook behind Food as Art? as a whole.

浜田岳文
1974年兵庫県宝塚市生まれ。米国イェール大学政治学部卒業。これまでに世界128カ国・地域を訪問し、1年のうち5カ月を海外、3か月を東京、4カ月を地方で食べ歩き、国内外のメディアで食と旅に関する情報を発信している。2025年11月より「世界のベストレストラン50」および「アジアのベストレストラン50」日本評議委員長に就任。海外レストランサイトのレビュアーランキングでは8年連続1位を獲得し、世界的美食家として知られる。2024年6月、『美食の教養 世界一の美食家が知っていること』（ダイヤモンド社）を出版。

高田裕介
独自性と前衛的なスタイルで国際的に高い評価を受ける、アジアを代表する日本人シェフ。フランス料理の精緻な技法を基盤に、食材・文化・芸術・音楽からインスピレーションを得ながら、既成概念にとらわれない独自の料理世界を創り上げる。奄美大島の生まれで、島の豊かな自然から培った感性を糧に、日本のガストロノミーに新たな潮流をもたらしている。

田中仁
株式会社ジンズホールディングス代表取締役会長ＣＥＯ。⼀般財団法⼈⽥中仁財団代表理事。1963年群⾺県⽣まれ。1988年有限会社ジェイアイエヌ（現：株式会社ジンズホールディングス）を設⽴し、2001年アイウエア事業「JINS」を開始。現在、東京証券取引所プライム市場上場。2014年群⾺県の地域活性化⽀援のため「⽥中仁財団」を設⽴し、起業家⽀援プロジェクト「群⾺イノベーションアワード」「群⾺イノベーションスクール」を開始。2020年には、廃旅館を再⽣して「⽩井屋ホテル」を開業し、衰退が危ぶまれた地⽅都市・前橋のまちづくりに尽⼒している。

Takefumi Hamada
Takefumi Hamada was born in 1974 in Takarazuka, Hyogo, Japan. Graduated from Yale University with a degree in political science, he has visited 128 countries and regions and spends approximately five months out of every year traveling overseas, three months in Tokyo, and four months in regional areas of Japan exploring food cultures. He shares information on food and travel through domestic and international media. Since November 2025, he has served as Japan Chairperson for the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants lists. He ranked first for eight consecutive years in reviewer rankings on international restaurant review platforms and is recognized.

Yusuke Takada
Yusuke Takada is a Japanese chef and a leading culinary figure in Asia. Born and raised on Amami Oshima, he has gained international recognition for his originality and avant-garde style, grounded in the refined techniques of French cuisine. Drawing inspiration from ingredients, culture, art, and music, he creates a distinctive culinary world beyond conventions, channeling his natural sensibility into shaping new currents in Japanese gastronomy.

Hitoshi Tanaka
Chairman and CEO of JINS Holdings Inc. and the Representative Director of the Hitoshi Tanaka Foundation. Born in 1963 in Gunma Prefecture, Hitoshi Tanaka founded JIN Co., Ltd. (now JINS Holdings Inc.) in 1988 and launched the eyewear brand JINS in 2001, which is currently listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market. In 2014, he established the Hitoshi Tanaka Foundation to support regional revitalization in Gunma, launching initiatives such as the Gunma Innovation Award and the Gunma Innovation School. In 2020, he renovated a shuttered inn and re-opened it as the Shiraiya Hotel, contributing to the urban renewal of Maebashi, a regional city facing decline.
