「触覚映画」と称される鑑賞者の身体感覚を揺さぶる演出や、ドキュメンタリーとフィクションを融合させる独自の映像手法で知られる映画作家・吉開菜央の特集上映会。アーツ前橋3階のミニシアター・前橋シネマハウスで、第72回カンヌ国際映画祭に正式招待された『Grand Bouquet』や、北海道の知床・斜里町を舞台にした『Shari』など、前橋国際芸術祭2026出展作『風呼び』に連なる中編・短編5作品を一挙上映します。

A special screening will be held showcasing Nao Yoshikai, a filmmaker known for her “tactile cinema”—a style that stirs the viewer’s physical senses—and her unique visual techniques that blend documentary and fiction. At the Maebashi Cinema House, a mini-theater on the third floor of Arts Maebashi, five medium-length and short films (including Grand Bouquet, which was officially invited to the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival, and Shari, a film set in Shari, Shiretoko, Hokkaido) will be screened back-to-back. These works link with Kazeyobi (Calling the Wind), a film featured at the Maebashi International Art Festival 2026.
