アイドルグループ「アンジュルム」で初代リーダーを務めた後、アーティストとして活動しながら美術やフェミズムに関する発信・執筆をおこなっている和田彩花。本企画は和田と群馬大学附属中学校の生徒たちが、心のなかに秘めている言葉や、街で見つけた音や道具を集め、楽譜や正解に縛られない即興演奏をつくりあげるワークショップ公演です。生徒たちは和田が所属するバンドLOLOETのサポートのもと、それぞれの音や声の出し方、感じ方、関わり方の違いを受け入れ、その双方向の学びの成果をアーケード商店街の路上ライブで披露します。

This event is a collaboration between the affiliated Junior High School, Gunma University Cooperative Faculty of Education Choir Club and Ayaka Wada, an artist, writer and opinionator in the areas of art and feminism, as well as the first-generation leader of the idol group Angerme. Over the course of a two-day workshop and under Wada’s guidance, students will draw upon unspoken words in their hearts and sounds and objects gathered from the urban environment, applying them in improvisational voice and sound performances free from the strictures of musical notation or notions of acceptability. The experience of reciprocal sharing and awareness by which differences in output, perception, and relating are accepted will then have final expression in street performances by the students, in the arcade shopping district, with the backing of Wada’s current band LOLOET.
