前橋食景｜グルマンカレー

群馬県民や前橋市民のみならず、誰もが好きな惣菜「きんぴら」。それを群馬県の郷土料理とした「上州きんぴら」は、通常の「きんぴら」に豚肉やこんにゃくを加えたもの。その誰もが好きな甘辛い味にカレー屋ならではのスパイスを足し、カレーとのペアリングを狙う。

Kinpira, a beloved sweet-and-savory side dish, is popular with people throughout Gunma and Maebashi. The local version, “Joshu kinpira,” adds pork and konjac to the usual kinpira. We have added spices in the style of a curry shop to this familiar flavor, aiming for a perfect pairing with curry.

〈シェフの経歴〉
22年間働いた群馬中央病院を退職し、幼い頃から作り続けたカレーを提供するために「グルマンカレー」を2022年にオープン。現在はカレー屋としての活動のみならず、好きが高じて音楽イベント「マジックアワー」を主催し、前橋の街を盛り上げる事に尽力している。

〈Chef Profile〉
After leaving Gunma Chuo Hospital, where he had worked for 22 years, he opened Gourmand Curry in 2022 to serve the curry he had been making since childhood. In addition to running the curry shop, he organizes the music event “Magic Hour” out of his love of music and works to energize Maebashi’s city center.
