The “Miru-Iku Art Festival” welcomes Kenichi Obana, a participating artist in the 1st Maebashi Biennale 2026. Based on JINS’ vision, “Magnify Life,” this interactive art event is designed to offer children new “seeing” experiences and the joy of seeing the world differently. In Maebashi, the birthplace of JINS, we are generating new interactions within the community by hosting events at “JINS PARK”—a hub for the local community. Additionally, in our stores—such as the JINS Maebashi Kojimata store, where Kenichi Obana worked on the store art—we have fostered community symbiosis and provided opportunities to experience art in everyday life through the introduction of unique local architecture and artworks.

For this 5th edition, we once again welcome Kenichi Obana, who has a history with JINS. The festival will feature multiple hands-on programs that engage all five senses with local nature and climate, including a special workshop tied to the theme, “Wind and Earth,” the theme of his artwork exhibited at the Maebashi Biennale. We offer a special time for participants to rediscover the charm of the local community and nature through making their own kites and other art experiences.
Furthermore, starting on the day of the event, participating JINS stores in Maebashi City will distribute original stickers featuring Kenichi Obana’s newly drawn illustrations as a complimentary gift for customers who purchase JINS eyewear, on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Please note that distribution will end once supplies run out. Thank you for your understanding.
